SPOILERS: Ok wtf is happening, every favorite fighter is losing (except Fedor of course, who is still the man). Those fucking underdogs, first Gomi, Lil Nog, Arona, Silva, Randy winning, Serra over GSP, and now fucking Cro Cop loses, and not just loses, GETS FUCKING HIGH KICKED, CROCOP FUCKING INVENTED HK you'd think he could defend one, and his leg twisted in such a way, it was painful to look at. I guess what goes around, comes around, all those people CC LHK, i bet Silva is laughing his ass off right now with Igor and Alex by his side. FUCK THAT SHIT.

Cro Cop was getting beaten down, chances are he took the shot due to the previous beating. I mean, he guards for a body shot and takes it in the head.. but hell.. that was TOTALLY a head shot. He'll be back though, I wouldn't worry. He is too loved to get kicked out, more to the point he is hard as nails. Randy will utterly fuck Gonzaga. Simple as that. Oh yeah, and Silva is shit, he needed a beating.

Man is leg was so painful to look at, i gringed when i saw it. But that High kick was amazing, he dropped like a sack of bricks.

It was a great kick, but he is lucky to have landed it on Cro Cop.. like I said, I bet it was more likely that Cro Cop was a bit fucked from the previous few minutes..

I'm one of the biggest Mirko fans here so let me give my POV on what happened

I think Mirko now realises that he should have trained to defend elbows and importantly trained for the cage, in Pride rules and in the Pride rings he would snap GG in two but I think when he came out Saturday he looked like he wasnt there and could care less about the fight I dont think he focused properly for this fight if any of you have seen even 1 of the many HL reels of Crocop you would understand why he is so feared the guy is one of if not the best striker in the MMA game.

When he landed that mid kick he threw it like he didnt care but you can see the red mark on GG from where it impacted Very Happy

just a shame he got taken down then worked by those heavy elbows you can clearly tell he was taking serious punishment there was a big lump on his forehead and when Herb stood them up Mirko looked like he was hurt and dissillusioned he really didnt train to defend elbows.

After that Mirko wasnt even engaging you can clearly tell he was on the backfoot when GG threw that kick you can tell Mirko was expecting it however Mirko had no idea he was going high and initially readied himself to block low and mid its a big shame really as someone of Mirkos calibur can fall to somone like GG, though having said that Mirko has been caught before ala Randleman but he bounced back from that he lost to Fedor via decision and bounced back from that and managed to capture the OWGP belt.

His hunger and heart isnt in the game no more its clearly visible though he has said he will continue to fight the remaining 4 fights on his contract but he will try to bring the fire back into his eyes AND he still wants to fight Fedor!...if you like me have been following Mirko since his K1 days you know the guy had some serious spark and could damage anyone but the one thing Mirko doesnt do well is take losses I just hope he comes back with a vengeance after his ankle/ligament is healed and regains some of the fire he held so valiantly.

Oh and this time I hope he cuts his fights down the guy is a machine fighting at most events he is obviously worn out!.
