what happened to telesyncs and telecines?
we don't really need the video of them anymore as R5 dvdrips can get that, but proper quality audio releases would be good, like usually with even telesyncs

Great movie, just saw the PUKKA release.
And the sound wasn't so terrible. Much better then Mr Beans Holiday audio.

I for one think its stupid with my language on foreign movies, makes the movie worse (non watchable). I rather take subtitles, good example are all the Japanese movies with American voices from back in the days.. jeez..fucking pain to watch. Original voices/sound and subtitles ftfw.
And for the movie, I got the PUKKA rls...and the start bores me. Turned it off for now.. the camera work in the beginning is shit imo (fast flashes, fast sounds). I liked his first movie thou.

The style in this reminded me more of spaced than sotd. I loved spaced. I loved hot fuzz

Yeah, unfortunatelly PUKKA release sucks! Just got and watched it and I can surely say that it sounds like my arse after drinking a kefir and eating cucumber.
Hope to find some better release later.
And one more thing - can anyone PM me some good place to get English subtitles for this movie? It's much more comfortable to watch foreign language movies with subs, it's really difficuly for me to understand everything they say.

I watched it yesterday and I don't know what to think of it, I had a good time that’s for sure but some jokes were really :/ like the part were he's jumping fences and then the other guy try and fell, I mean this really TOO obvious, it's like they did the movie and then they added those scene or quotes just for the trailer and its either not funny or just too obvious, like the quote in the classrom when he ask the question about the head or when the guy say *you and you monkey* and the guy is holding the monkey and say *is he talking about me or him* ( I don't consider those as spoiler as all are in the trailer) I mean c'om this is boring and so obvious, otherwise I had a great time and I enjoyed it quite a lot 7/10

Those types of jokes are extremely typical of the guys behind the film. I was surprised (and disappointed) that there wasn't more of them actually as I personally found the film a bore. A real let down in fact. I'm a huge fan of their previous work but overall Hot Fuzz wasn't much cop  |
