So now a 3D RPG can't be developed without it being accused of being an 'oblivion clone'?
Sad.
Similar to the situation where almost any free roaming game set in a city is accused of being a GTA clone.

at lest those kiddies learned with RTSes , remember when C&C came all other rts was a C&C clone  or dune 2 clone |

Sounds cool. Wasn't stating that it looks worse than Oblivion, just that it might be more obtimized, thus running better. (no bad grass the fps killer, well there's a lot of sand to help that).

game actually looks stunning if you can run it with all options on and on max. Though I think it runs a bit sluggish cause all of the rendering to be done. I mean you got a pretty big city with alot going on. |

well IMO I'd like the PC version as more options for video, other than that I can see teh controlls being just as good on PC as it would be for 360 as long as they optimized em for both. |

Agree 100%. Its sad how people need a new generation of gameplay not to think its a clone of some other game.

does look good. I hope you can fight while mounted, dont know why they didnt implement that in Oblivion. you should be able to ride past enemise with a powerful swipe of your weapon. now that would be cool.

It has been discussed many times over in the previous few pages, release date is next week in Europe(some sites say 7th, some 8th), 26th June for USA.

First one somehow reports 7th march but the second one reports 29th june and the sites I usually preorder from also reports dates late in june (26th being the most common but not that much of a difference from the 29th ).
Been thinking of pre-ordering the limited/royal edition but it's a exlusive game.co.uk deal and that site just 404's when I attempt to register or change the delivery method or even specify a country to deliver to, also tried with Opera, Firefox and Gran Paradiso (Firefox 3 alpha) but all have the same issues and problems.
(Something wrong with the site perhaps?)
EDIT: I've also read a few announcements on the official site and fansites regarding a expected release date to be around early may but I think it's been delayed since then.
(No gold announcement or such yet and those news were posted on apri 8th)
EDIT2: Could also be that the german version is to be released earlier than the UK and US versions.

Release for xBox the 360 was shifted on indefinite time, at least for Germany. Debt to it has Microsoft.
And for all it not do not know:
German PC version comes on May 9, in Germany. The German Royal edition has German and English acoustic output and sub-title.
