I vote for XP, at least for now.
My next baby will be surely with Vista and for now i have no reasons for my needs to change OS.
There are only 10 kinds of people : those that understand binaries and those that don't.

Yeah... It's nVidia's/AMD's fault, with their crappy unoptimized drivers! I wonder why nVidia was never sued.
And still, I remember the same articles and graphs in the early days of XP.

latest xp vs vista benchmark - still, xp owns almost all games, even m$'s Flight Sim X. WoW was faster in Vista | Lol why can they try with an ATI card for once, nvidia drivers are crappy for sure.

must be a propaganda trick to bring nvidia down to teh ground. I suspect 334 more shitty reviews with ugly drivers then they'll show ATI and be all w00t

I installed and tried VISTA, but the drivers for my scanner don't work (Canon USB2), drivers for my motherboard don't support SATA2/my built-in network card yet, and my two favourite games (EVE and KOTOR) have horrible performance-issues (Probably due to my new ATI-card?).
It's like it doesn't support the latest modern hardware. And wtf is it with Razer and fucking up their drivers for VISTA? The tool to change settings crash like every 30 minutes.
XP works like a charm. I guess the drivers/software for hardware needs a year before they catch up.
VISTA has me real disappointed.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

LOL, Customer support cannot help with hardware-developers drivers. They only tell me I have to wait, that it's not Microsoft's responsibility to make sure drivers are available for my hardware.
Which is true.
And that's why I use XP, because I have 0 problems with it.
