if you want the german version why don't you just get the silentgate release than?
I just checked for you and any other language you need the bonus disk. the installation will start but half way through it'll ask for the other disk. |

I want to download the Razor release because it's safer. It's hard to explain. The publisher Zuxxex and several other companies are taking legal action against everyone who downloads their games in eMule and Bittorent in Germany (and several other countries in Europe). If they catch you they will send you a kind of cease-and-desist letter and demand 350 Euro from you!  That's why I rather like to download the Razor release from a small international tracker instead, just to be safe. I already threw one of these shitty letters in my trashcan two months ago.  |

Yep it's a scam then. My future software/game selling tactics has apparently already used.
"Zuxxex is well known in Germany. In 2005 it hired law firm Schutt-Waetke to file charges against more than 20000 German filesharers with the district attorney of Karlsruhe. It claimed that the filesharers had taken a game called Earth 2160 which had received mixed reviews in the IT press. The addresses were taken from a list provided to it by a Swiss company by the name Logistep to log IP numbers of suspected file sharers.
Under German law once a file was opened, the plaintiff who filed the charges had the right to be told the name and address of the defendant. It approached each defendant asking for a settlement around €150-650. "

What a pos game. It had potential... I played it up to a point where my horse run up a 90" angle cave and started fighting upside down hanging from the caves ceiling...
At that point I just deleted it. Aweful controls.

played for 1h now, and i have to agree with many others here, the game isnt really good. i would give it an 4/10, the game hade great potential but can not live up to my expectations, graphics (witch doesnt really mather) are decent, fully playble. sound is ok, but gameplay really ruin this game for me.
for instance, combat is a joke A BIG JOKE! horse riding is fubar, and mounted combat is just.... sad.
i like the part that you got diffrent faction you can join etc, but for that to happen you actully have to play the game, and in my case that wont happen. this game could really have kicked ass, but as for now it's just a waste of time, i rather go and look into a wall or do something else that is more amusing then this game.

I really like this game. I hate horse riding, so I just walk around on foot. You can stack weapons, armor and everything if they are from the same armor class to improve the stats, which is really awesome, you can stick with your starting armor if you find enough enemies who drop those.
Combat isn't that great, but it isn't a simple left click orgy either if you learn some skills later on and start to use them. I am now at a level where it is still hard to defeat a bear but I am able to do it, by jumping back (q), and those fights are really something... especially if a horde of wolves jumps me from the back while I am wrestling with the bear, and through clever dodging I still was able to win.
I really enjoy this game, but I play it Diablo style with only teleporters and walking, no horses. And I don't use the respawn feature, if I die I reload, that simple. Great game!

not very polished unfortunately....but it's a good game at it's heart. if you don't have a problem with a game that has just as many problems as it has great features you should give it a try at least.

Give it a try !! It's not OBLIVION, but the more you play it, the more REWARDING IT GETS and you get to see nicer environments and some really cool MAGIC moments

You can't really compare to oblivion. It's more like gothic but with a stable framerate. By gothic I mean they still some more patches before it's all gravy. But if you look outside of the bugs it's pretty fun. Though I got a crappy one where I keep losing sound and have to keep exiting the game. The leveling is pretty straight forward on the strength, dexteriy etx but as far as skills there pretty cool. It's honestly worth a try, alot don't like it and alot like it but for those who like it you gotta play it for a bit to get into it.
GFX are pretty decent, again it looks like gothic, animation can be a bit jaggy especially when going up stairs or hills. Shadows are a lil blah but I haven't messed with the super awsome ini tweak since I'm only on a 7900GS KO

First week of release adn they already handed out two. I emailed the support and their quick to respond with help, and of all the support emails I've dealt with I've never seen any as quick as them.
