I finally got to play this game. Seems like a decent RTS with all the little details I love, like terrain effects on units and magic (though not as detailed as in WC3). This game especially deserves praise for its user interface, which is very easily accessible and comfortable. I also like the idea of controlling companies (which refill their ranks themselves after battle) instead of control individual units.

On the other side, the game is only for dedicated players. I must confess I am not much into RTS and I needed 2 hours for the second mission! I would rather like to play shorter missions, which you can play through in 30 or 60 minutes. That's better if you just have a small break and want to relax a bit with a cool game.

Overall, I think Kohan stands out from the masses of RTS games released in the last months and feels very unique. It's definitely worth a second look. Double thumbs up! Very Happy

I've been playing this game a *LOT* & really like it especially the skirmish options for the custom scenarios "Aephers Earth", "Volcanoe Isle" & "Snowstorm". Best allround units have to be the Undead-Ceyah faction. They have low moral loss & once fully upgraded are insanely tough with no vulnerabilities.

Using 1 cavalry + 2 prophets + 1 hero, 6 lots of skeletons+prophet+(defiler or lich) & 4 lots of skelton archers+prophet+(defiler or lich) - with remianing heroes assigned. Get 1 army & use 2nd army to guard indvidual groups of the 1st. Roll these babies into battle & let the pyrotechnics explode!

The spells & shit in this game are very good - really looking forward to an expansion (hopefully). Even went out & bought this at Amazon for £4.99 used hee hee. Finally be able to quit looking for a NoCD for the v1.2.3 patch!

Tried Settlers 4 & Armies of Exigo but they just don't have the atmosphere of this great little RTS!

You wanted a Miracle, I give you the F. B. Eye !!
