also, what's so bad about gameworld? from the previews and reviews, it seems much more expansive than gothic's world? |

why the game is crap?
1.The graphics are horrible, looks like a game with 20 years old. the screens and videos does look nice, they must be photoshoped.. because the game does not look that great.
2. Animations are really bad, really.
3. Combat system is so poor.
4. the blood is so ridiculous, that makes me laugh.. 
5. for at least 4GB you can get oblivion, wich is 100x better then this shit.
6. Ahh almost forget , you need ageia too, i dont know for what, i think this game dont have any phisics.. maybe for its for crap calculations..
i warned you and everyone, do what you want to do....

ZOMG what a pos...  Even Gothic was better than this crap (and that's saying a lot)! I guess I will have to install Oblivion again for a good open-ended game.

I like sound, graphic, but animation and especially fight is so poorly done, that its absolutely ruins any fun for me, too bad, it looked nice.. on pictures :S

Ya im done now as well. Doesn't matter how good of armor you get or weapons they do little to nothing. Wolves still kick the shit out of me the same amount as when I first started playing. Finally got to the horse and bloody christ was that a waste of programming. I'll keep it installed and wait for a few patches.

yup, very sad... this shit looked cool on the screenshots... maybe it should have been kept that way... html game...
now i have a bunch of ageia drivers n shit installed which hopefully get removed fully once this is uninstalled... because that's simply all u can do with this game... uninstall it... 7gig download wasted... god i wish i would have paid more attention when reading the nfo... dvd2 is completly useless 
running this even on 800x600 with max details i get POOR performance... not to mention looking like complete utter shit...
boosting the necessary things like draw distance and textures, only keeping hdr and details to a minimum @ 1280x1024 i get a somewhat ok looking game (still sucks ass) and a shitty framerate of 10-20...
the worst thing about this game, which made me want to uninstall it the second after i entered the menu is... you CANNOT remap your mouse keys... i HATE games that do not allow this... for me, any FPS/3PS that does not allow this is almost unplayable... therefore... game = die!
combat... yeah i killed a few boars and groams... excitement pure?... ummmmm, lets just say... NO
voice acting, animations, etc... umm... wow... dev's must be hearing-impared pirates... did they wear a eyepatch and think this actually looked and sounded good?
and what the fuck is the deal with having like 30 options to change your characters face?... i dont give a shit about raising his eyebrows and eye color (you cant see that shit anyways, and if u do it looks like shit!)
overall, after spending about an hour with this game... the only positive thing i found was a song on dvd2 which i am going to sample to make a beat from...
this game is a TOTAL skip, i wish i never downed it... to anyone eager to play a new rpg like i was, DONT DO IT!, not worth it in the slightest!

This thread just shows how easily other people are influenced by others opinions. Most people who read the game is bad probably don't even try it for more than 5 minutes, but even then, their mind is already set that the game is crap.
Underlying game and concept are very well done. There are a bugs, but only only noteworthy ones(for me) are bad horseriding controls, lack of lipsynching, and archery seems too weak to be used as primary means of combat.
I don't see wth is everyone complaining about graphics, first it's rpg, and if you care about gfx, perhaps ur just playing the wrong type of game, I pretty much ignore all posts as soon as I hear someone doesn't want to play something because of bad gfx. And the thing is, graphics are quite well done, armor and items look amazing, and there is A LOT of variety there. Not to mention the cool weather effects and tree physics. It's not better than oblivions, but it is better than gothic, coz in gothic they overdid the textures and ram usage, which cause constant stuttering and killed off the immersion. I have yet to experience any stuttering or long loading times. I appreciate this more than a gigabyte of HQ textures.
Some dialogs are good, some are bad. But with 200 people hired for voice acting, you're bound to have bad ones. Overall they're average if you ask me, and after few hours of the game you really get into the old english they speak.
I have no grudge against the combat system, it's simple, but noone complained about diablos combat did they? And this game has a lot of diablo elements in it. It really does feel like 3rd person hack'n'slash, partialy because of combat, partially because of the way equipment is handled.
I don't see why people expected a masterpiece from a small company of 25 people?
If you're an rpg fan you can't miss this game, and if you're not why even bother downloading it? It has it's bugs, but it still makes it in my list of three "large" rpgs of late(g3, oblivion, and tw). And since it's an online game, I'm quite sure everything is gonna get polished real soon, especially for the american release.

I also don't understand what ppl are complaining about. So far,I haven't encountered any serious bugs or crashes(with the razor release). Sure the mounted fighting is a little annoying and the controls could be better. But it's still better than most games out there.
GFX are good,fighting is also ok(especially two handed fighting),voice acting is A LOT better than in most games(haven't got annoyed yet) and you got a free roaming world to explore.
So WTF are you complaining about?
If you got crashes,then just wait for a new patch and try again...condemning a game after trying it for 5 mins to 1 hour shows lack of concentration and patience.(which actually is true in todays society)

Well for starters they are working on a giving more option for remapping controls so wait for another patch..
2, you have absolutly NO reason to judge this game. I come to this conclusion as you bitch about not being able to run the eye candy even though you on a a system as old as jesus's massive shit he took. AMD 3400? 6600GT? does this look like 2003 to you? Are you going to criticize crysis too cause you can't run it on that system? OH NOEZ!!!

wow this bitching remembers me Gothic 1 ... crapy animation , wtf i must press 4 buttons to pick up things , textures look ugly , wtf this game don`t uses a mouse , they mouths don`t move when they speak 
and then came Gothic 1 gold with the biggest patch ever masked as a addon and all people where  , same with this game - they only fucked up this one because they spread the team that made this game too thin , they thought they can make a MMORPG and a Singleplayer game in one pack and a console version at the same time .... WRONG
Come on no one is a Jack of all trades  ... and thats why they failed in bringing a quality product .
But one thing i don`t get , it was a 100% SP game all the time and about six months before the release date they "oh yeah we think we can made this game a MMORPG" ... so they said fuck the SP and the hole game lets implement a face editor , shiny armors , BLOOM and the other things will be updated regularly like other MMORPGs do that .
if you look at it now this game is not finished but maybe in a year it will be

I like this game.
Rough around the edges? Sure. Small Dev team.
But definitely a step in the right direction. Can't wait to see a few more patches come.
I especially laugh at people bitching that they can't run the game on 3 year old video cards. That's just too funny.
