he was asking about the sims actualy going to work, scholl etc..., you know, like your guy is a military officer, then when you go to work you would be able to see him going on some covert ops or something hehe.

But WE have a problem understanding you. And that is the problem! How can we help you when we have difficulty understanding what the problem really is?

All I got is that EA promised a lot of things. A lot of those things weren't in the retail/downloaed game and it got a lot of people pissed making them think it's a beta. When it's not a beta.

That's all i got. If there is something I didn't get please tell me.


EA lied, people got pissed, pissed people started complaining. Very Happy

Y'know, I was just thinking...if it's possible to play The Sims 2 with that mini-image thing, why don't groups start using these things more often? I mean, it's less than 200KB, allows the game to be played perfectly, and allows updating as any normal store-bought PC game, and it works with this hard-to-crack game. I mean, how long could a mini-image take to make? We could be playing games almost immediately after the groups get them.

When I want to unpack one of the 195 rar-files I must fill in a password.... Does anybody know this password?

and we want to burn all those 1337 games so we can stuck it wherever we want

oh, and btw, almost anybody could do a mini-image with some pratice... cracks don't

If you want to burn them, put the mini-image in the crack directory on a CD along with a daemon tools installation file. I'm not saying that cracks should be eliminated by any means, I'd rather have a crack than a mini-image any day. I'm saying that mini-images would be a great way to at least tide people over until proper cracks could be released or to play so called "uncrackable" games without everyone complaining about groups being too shitty to release a lot of titles.

well it sounds ok, did anyone try that out?? Do i have to change anything after installation from cd and mounting mini-image in my virtual drive??.

And one thing...imho mini-images are completly ok, and i have nothing against it, there are even better than cracks (always can apply official update )and i can use miniiso for the rest of my life Cool . There is only one BUT....sim2 is no SF3 protected ,rest of miniimages - toca2, soldiers - aren`t working so good, and i think that`s the problem. You still have to unplug your drive, and shit like that to play the game - this is really pain in the ass. First i though i can live without my cd for a while, but i cant, that`s why miniimages aren`t perfect Evil or Very Mad .

ps. It would be great, if someone could write a program, who "hide" cddrives from starforce. There must be a way to virtually "unplug" your drive.

I agree with "dwnwrd_sprl" .. mini image is no hassle to use and negates the problem of further updated cracks for game patches .Anybody who thinks mounting a mini image is hassle shouldn't really be let loose in front of a computer.

I looked up "gormless" in the dictionary, it said "without gorm" .... so i looked up "gorm" but it wasn't there ????

you mean when you sell it Rolling Eyes ... and if your "friend/nephew" can't mount an image how are they going to play the game ? if their iq isn't up to such a simple thing ?

Your mates must all be very computer literate. Most people i know haven't heard of a crack, mini image, or a virtual drive. They are lucky enough to install the game properly.

Not everyone spends time playing computer games.What he is saying is that they may make an exception for a game like the Sims which has universal appeal (Check out the sales figures).

Try it - go and talk your mum or dad through the install,crack,mounting image process, and see if by the end you're not ready to strangle someone.

Sorry - just re-read your post - you are saying that if they can't install a game then they won't be able to play it - why did I bother replying Smile

give me a break, you guys are pathetic.
there are millions out there that wouldnt be able to mount, demount etc but this doesnt mean they cant play a game.
im possitive that most of you here dont even know your windows, so how can you guys play games?

use your heads. failing in one thing doesnt mean your failing in everything.
mini images are good for the ones that can operate them, simple as that.
most people that get stuff from the net or frm friends are not into these kind of things, they just want to play the game and nothing else.

well as far as i know, earlier groups had universal key to crack safedisk protection , but in new version ,every game has its own unike "key" to crack it, so it`s like cracking new protection over and over again. That`s all i know, and i don`t say it`s true, but i bieleve it Smile

I dont remember of a game being released on scene and not being cracked for too many time like Sims 2... its almost 20 days now
