About Starcraft2.com domain, yes - that's true, it is registered since 1999...
BUT, until yesterday it was purely pointing to the same IP as blizzard.com, now it points to a different server which kicks the browser to blizzard.com. It is possible that on saturday there will be a SC2 site instead.

Yeah thats the usual case for PC games, but as you know all Blizzard games are quality and many old ones like StarCraft Diablo/Diablo 2/WarCraft 3 is still played to this day.
Hype is allowed with blizzard games
