When in WS resolutions, does it have +horizontal or -vertical?

It's +horizontal. Same as legends. Optimized for 16:9 but 16:10 looks fine. Supports Wired and Wireless 360 Controllers, but no-ingame button map is available (ie, it'll say, use spacebar, but the controls are the same as ...lost planet)

Lol you're saying there's no installer in this one because the original didn't have one? Laughing Not even that sure that was the case with the original.

Heh, but that's fine by me... I just mount and play.

Cool game, supports real WS. One question, how do I get settings box that was 1st time I started the game to show up again? I can't select 1680x1050 ingame, and changed resolution when tested various settings.
EDIT: Adding -setup to the shortcut did the trick Smile

TR1 even had an installer Smile But retail will have it too... Wondering if there is any differences between this and the retail version : because it's safe to assume retail version will have some dvd check Smile

EDIT : notice the readme is from TRL and the icon of the exe as well. This isn't retail, that's for sure.

It's a PS2 port, the graphics are as nice on the PS2.

EDIT : First impressions : this game rocks, it even runs at 60 fps with my GeForce 3 (yeah I know Smile) everything maxed (ok I admit, running in 800x600 but else everything maxed).

Now this is some optimizations for a game like this !

Looks and plays nicely for a game designed for PS2. I guess console ports don't always have to suck.. *ahem* Capcom. It even runs well on my aging laptop (P-M 1.6 + Mobility 9600/9700 32mb). The controls work alright IMO... even on the laptop touchpad. They did a great job remaking the first game.

Found the first bug in this game , When you finish the hole croft mansion before starting the main game , you cannot start the main campaign - the only way to fix it is to start a new profile .

might be a bug of this press release... maybe retail will fix this. And "headshots" are pretty hard to do on keyboard. This game is more playable with a gamepad.

Graphics are definitly a bit better than Legend next gen off. It's really nice for a current-gen game. Played till the Trex but can't kill him since keyboard = bad.

Sounds are nice, the "NO!" is back when you choose an item you can't put in the slot.
Musics are perfect, like in TR1.

If i'd have to rate this game, i'd put a 9/10.

To pumbertot.1, I can't enable AA anyway with my GF3

Oh, and this game doesn't seem to like ATI's because particles effects make the game lose 20fps when you are looking at them. Or maybe it's a Windows Vista bug. (Yes, I use Windows Vista, and I have another PC then the one with the GF3 )

Don't worry, gonna change my PC soon. Got it since 2003 I think. It's just I wasn't playing on it since 2 years. Anyway, I tried it on another PC with a ATI Radeon X1600 Pro (which is OK IMO) and the game slowed down looking at particles (like from 60fps to 25fps !).

So that's why I m saying I think it doesn't like ATI cards. But i'm running Vista with the ATI, so maybe Catalyst's drivers aren't that good for Vista.
