For all of you stuck at Midas' statue. After gathering all 3 metal bars, use them on the statue's fallen hand and they'll turn to gold. Place them in the empty slots afterwards.

it feels like old Tomb raider this far... I even had to think sometimes how to make my next move (y)

its not to hard... its quite easy but not as easy as the Legend was.

are there any old Tomb Raider 1 players? I never played Tomb Raider 1 (only played thro: tomb raider 2,4,5,6 (aod quite crap) and legend.

I just want to know are there any levels that are exactly like they where in the Tomb Raider 1 ? Or did they only remake only some of the old puzzles etc from the old original.

I played TR1 back then and levels are basically the same but with new rooms and puzzles. I still recognize some place Smile And that was 11 years ago. And yep, Midas turned Lara into gold back then, just like in TRA.

I would say: the best tomb raider for long time....

They really should make the next tomb raider similar to this. The Legend was to easy and boring most of the time Rolling Eyes

Yea, Legend was more like a "movie" experience, straightforward, colourful, short and diverse.
Anniversary is the old school style, challenging, a bit frustating, more for the brain.

Too bad that they hardly use normal maps and lightning in Anniversary, but the levels are so huge it could've been a performance killer. Legend looks better, Anniversary has the better gameplay. If the next Tomb Raider has the gameplay of A. and the gfx of L. it'll be a must get for sure Very Happy

I'm in Egypt Level 2 now btw, 8hrs into the game. 50% left Wink

legend was a great game for those of us who remember tomb raider 3... 4... 5...6...789 however many crappers they made before legend... it was a great return to form, but i agree, no tr game managed to capture what was great about the original, and if this remake is as faithful as i hope, i have no doubt its an amazing game.

I remembered 2-4-5 and legend was for me: its so fucking easy but its playable ... at least it wasn't like that crap AoD.
Legend is for those who dont want to think and only want to use guns and run from point a to b.
Tomb raider is not about guns... its about puzzles and interesting places... and thinking how the F should I make these jumps to go there.
The new Tomb Raider Anniversary isn't that hard or frustrating. Tomb Raider 2 was much harder.

but hey... people are getting dummer and dummer every day... soon the whole game will be one huge tutorial and a movie about farting and eating shit so the audience can lol like brain dead idiots.

I'm actually stuck there.

I got the water level up and pulled the leaver so the floating thing got released, but it's stuck under a bridge and i can't move it, any pointers?

Crystal Dynamics is too busy doing games for one of the best selling franchise ever. Business is business Smile

I'm pretty sure "Tomb Raider" sells more than "Legacy of Kain".

Don't get me wrong, i'd like CD create a new franchise, since they are really good developers and make good games.
