Oh, I can understand someone not being aware of the Van Buren tech demo... but to look at it and believe for even a second that it's a game to be released in 2008(?) is what had me stunned.

Those screens from Van Buuren is kinda how I want FO3 to turn out in the end. However I doubt it will...

hahaha. You need a teen rating in the US - hypocrisy rules -of A for a game to sell. So it will be tuned down, crapped down and fun to play with a console interface. I am waiting for it to be released! one of the greatest sequels of all time, say goodbye to interesting traits and adult related content (like rpg's had in the past). Even if the fanboys from 10 years ago aged 10 years, doesnt matter!! be prepared, will be fun.

haha, he is stunned... lmao
alright, i screwed up... but Gamespot had those screens under Fallout 3, and i took them to be very early with limited texturing and model placards. Gamespot is now more clear on the subject.
actually i was looking forward to whats in those screens... now i am worried, Bethesda really screwed up that Trek game, and there are many unsatisfied with Oblivion. not to mention Bethesda clearly does not like to patch games. i would say Fallout 3 is gonna disappoint, but i could be wrong.

Well, Oblivion was a fantastic game, that's without a doubt - but it's not the right precursor (?) for a Fallout sequel. Morrowind, the only game I remember playing of Bethseda's was a frustrating title. Great concept but the execution left me hanging out in the cold banging on the door asking to be let in...

hopefully it wont get as messed up as ppl think it will, im not really over confident on bethseda's ability to make fallout 3 worthy of the fallout name, but the again. we might get suprised.
for me the graphic doesnt really mather as much, but if they mess up with the humor, the random cool events and the superb freedom the game will blow.

well, if Fallout 3 is a FPS imo its not even needed.
its true that Resident Evil 4 redefined the series and is a great game, but its 1 title in 1,000's that tried to redefine a series.
we currently have STALKER out, and coming up in a month or few, Biohazard or whatever, the sequel to System Shock.
what imo would be great, is Fallout 3 playing like Neverwinter Nights, iso view in a 3D world with a free camera, multiplayer, module tools. there is an argument that Fallout is like the old role playing game Gamma World.
of course i imagine Bethesda wants this thing running on a console, so forget a instant classic PC game.

Well this actually confirms the atmosphere which they are trying to pull off... As long as they are maintaining the originals dark and humerous atmosphere then im all in!

Eheheh nice place for the slave traders base! Those gas pipes could be full of slaves. Actually I think it's one of the traders at that catwalk. Sweet! Now all we need is that cold war mood...

Guys - I think I remember reading on a Fallout blog that the devs have said that this 'concept art' means jack-shit, they aren't actual locations in the game or anything like that - just commissioned pieces of artwork. Check these archives for link; http://fallout3.wordpress.com/ (as I could be wrong but I seem to remember that being the case)

i bet it's the new intro
but wouldn't mind ingame stuff either
though, i'd prefer to have the intro kept secret until release so it won't go stale
every time i start up FO1 or 2 i always watch the intro
just perfect and moody
