I have a Leadtek GeForce 7950GT TDH extreme 512Mb, and I've been trying for the last four hours to get color on my tv!

I use the S-video contact on the back of my gpu, but it refuses to show any colors at all! I've tried everything I can think of, from tv-tools (who doesn't support my card) to forcing my tv into ntsc-mode.

Can anyone help?

check the configuration panel of nvidia perhaps?
or try another plug to connect your vga-card to your tv

I just went to my local computer dealer and wanted to buy a cable.
He said that there is no way that the cable is faulty...

There is no setting in the control panel that I haven't tried. I have it on Sweden, B.PAL as it should be, but it refuses to work!

Do you know any other program that can change the svideo signal to composite signal? It can be done in tvtool, but my card isn't supported. Another program I've tried is Dscaler, but my card isn't regognized there either... Sad

hmm, if i use google, it looks like there are mutiple versions of that card is seems.

one with:

Output Dual Dual-Link DVI, HDTV
and
* 1 x mini-DIN connector (for Video-out)
* 2 x DVI-I connector (HDCP Ready)

what kinda tv do you have?
if its a plasma or lcd-tv, you beter use the hdtv output from your card.
Or perhaps buy a dvi-hdmi converter?
