You can't even compare the two. Psychonauts is a near perfect platformer and an excellent port to PC. Go with Psychonauts and forget this another next-gen aka bloom-overuse crap game.

This game does not want me to play it. I've tried both the "Clonedvd" and "Vitality" releases with and without the patch. With new versions of Daemon and Yasu (tried the uncheck safedisc advice). But every time it starts loading up I get box that says "Your video device is [NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GTX XG MobileForce Enhanced]. This hardware is not currently sufficient to run 'Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia'." with an ok button. When I click OK it goes black to change resolution and stops responding. I'm not sure if there's just some weird conflict with the Geforce Go cards or what. I'm actually pretty positive my overclocked card is sufficient because I've read about people running this game on a 7600. But yeah. Bummer. This game looks cheesy and fun.

here 8800gts under preety old motherboard (915 av intel and 3.2 ghz cpu prescott) 2 gb ram, run perffectly. i played only few min's - but it workks great, full details.
probably your problem is with the 7900 driver or something, cause the game is not heavy..you should play it with your card with out any probs.
try to change driver.

Well after playing this game to the end I can say that it is truly great.
Pros:
- The story is great
- game play is immensely fun and addicting
- the voice acting is above average
- the graphics don't lack as well thanks to the Unreal 3 engine
- the engine is used to create some great and BIG environments, and the levels do not rehash the same old textures
- the controls work well although could use some improvement
- the enemies come in many many different varieties and each has its own quirks
- many different vehicles you can drive (buggies, hovercraft, a ufo, a swan boat, ...)
- the humor in the game is great
- the weapons are plenty and come with many different upgrades and
- many other items you can use
- have not noticed any bugs, very stable
- great boss battles, especially the last one
- not just your average run and gun style, has some cool (not hard though) puzzles, especially with bosses
- lengthy campaign, I would reckon about 10-15 hrs (played it for 3 days in intervals)
Cons:
- it helps if you have a mouse with some extra buttons
- normal difficulty is easy at the beginning, a bit hard at the end, easy difficulty is indeed easy
- could be slow on low end systems (no problems here with e6600 and 8800gts)
So all in all, a very recommended game (I play mostly FPS, adventure and various 3drd person shooter games). It is very overlooked I think and not much buzz about the game on the net and it's a shame, because it's not just another game (eg. generic FPS, games based on movies) and I think some effort went into this game.
A developer interview video (recommended):

Once you get into the all users folder, you'll notice application data isn't there, it's a hidden folder by default. So go to the tools button at the top > folder options > view tab > and on that list you should see a section called "hidden files and folder" with a green dot in "do not show hidden files and folders", select "show hidden files and folder" and click ok and wallah, that folders should show up for you.
