seems like reviews are on the downside, but I still gonna give it a try since I don't trust reviews anymore. It seems the bar is too high.

ah! this game is really good...wonder why I stopped playing the pc version though. I reinstalled the pc version since I was half way through the game. Guess I wasted a disk burning the 360 version.

Been playing this for a few hours today and I like it not alot but enough for it to be worth playing through. It autosaves far too often and their are probably too many linear set piece areas in the game but it is still fun, for a shooter to be good for me the guns need to feel right and people need to die well and I like both in this, the graphics are a mixed bag because in some areas (especially when you go to the concentrated zoom mode) the game looks excellent but in others it could be a very well done xbox1 game, also sometimes I notice alot of jaggies and other times not? The dialogue is also funny as is playing as the preacher dude quoting from the bible all the time whilst dishing out violence, this might sound odd but for me this game reminds me of an old school Steven Seagal or Dolph Lundgren film, it is cheesey but the violence is hardcore and its pretty funny in a sick/funny way.
100% worth the download but probably not worth paying for imo.
My opinions on how it looks are from playing it on a 37inch HDTV at 720p and at 1080i (no differnece with this game for me)

How does the extra 10% for the 360 version relate to whether it's a good game or not? That depends on what someone thinks of the PC version.
The improvements do make it a better game, but not to the extent that someone who hated the original will like the 360 version.

also been playing it for a few hours. I think it's pretty entertaining too, but I prefer playing as the mexican dude over the preacher.. the preacher part just gets too linear imo, since you just have to kill any sinner you meet, whereas the other dude's missions are more open and he's got both stealth and action missions..
Still, the game gets too linear sometimes. It lacks freedom. For some reason it reminds me a bit of Oblivion, which got me thinking that mixing a this game with Oblivion would be incredible. A western game in a huge world, just like the world in this game, and with the freedom to kill who you want, be good or evil, do side quests and stuff.. That would really rock. You just really miss the freedom of being able to kill people in this game when you get spotted during a stealth mission, and you're forced to start all over.. really kills it to me

Just beat this game and I must say it was excellent. Very fun. I have been playing it pretty much straight since thursday night. Really enjoyed the cross story stuff. And the graphics are insane. Might be a bit short for people though.

I finally got round to playing this today and I have to say it was great fun! Far better than I was expecting it to be! I was expecting just another run of the mill first person shooter but this had a very distinct Oblivion feel to it with some pretty breathtaking environments and similar interactivty with real world objects and physics. There are also some pretty original ideas with the quick shooting and concentration bullet time stuff which I have to say was pretty cool. I have only played the first 3 episodes so far but the story and cutscenes integrate well with playing from more than one characters perspective throughout a single player game. Its an interesting concept and works well I think.
May the NFOrce be with you always.
