I would like to congratulate the scene members for the stand up jobs they have been doing getting games out after they have been released of recent. Bravo, Bravo.
And before you retort with a "don't complain you can buy it" or "who are you to judge the scene you newbie" you'll have to realize that I don't give a shit. But go ahead

It does not use StarForce 3, jeez. Very few companies use SF3 because of the problems it causes on a variety of configurations, including DVD players, and as far as I know, VU does not use StarForce 3 at all. The only companies that seem to use it often are Codemasters and crap like ValuSoft.

From the reviews I've read, I'm kinda getting mixed feelings about this one. Gameplay wise I think it may fall short, and get really frustrating. I do however applaud them for the Austin Powers/No One Lives Forever/Dungeon Keeper mixture.
Will have to wait and see how this one goes , however I'm tryin not to get my hopes up.
I think it'll be an OK game (just not good-great), but I could very well (and hope) be wrong.
Also, the gamespy review stated that they already released a patch for the vague mission objectives, among other things, so hopefully the group will include a 1.1 (err 1.01, not sure of version #).

you can set the doors to stay closed, if u click on them then select 4 dots they wont open unless a super agent breaks in, but on the other hand you muppets cant get in or our either. when i played the demo after i got all that was needed in the way of rooms i locked the doors so i could concentrate on training up my army

What a bloody disappointment there is no Multiplay! What the hell do these devs/pubs think about for extended replayability and lastability. Their basically painting a huge target on their product asking everyone to warez the damn thing since there is no way to have fun with this online. Single play is nice and all but maybe in the 90s! Nothing says replayability and fun like screwing people over in this game when yer buddy is making the perfect base for you to attempt an assault. Games just don't live up to expectations..

The last thing I want in a game is no MP disallowing me to share in-game experiences with others. SP is too "the self".. Making it a communal interaction is always No.1 in my books. If I want to self-entertain and be anti-social I'd read a book! Some games are good at being SP.. Genius would be hilarious MP if done right. Then again, need a bigger game budget.

you know what? ITS A GAME. A single player game. Deal with it. GO play something else if your too stuck up to enjoy a fun single player game. And PS Playing online games does NOT constitute a social life, you need to get OUT in addition to playing games... or else you'll be stuck in your mom's basement for life (not literally...)
