I gave 2 reasons as to why it wasnt spread.

And I said I really want to TRY this game. I'm not gonna blindly buy it, and I never find demos to be sufficient trials

I know that this game si VOB protected but using the Starforce profile works well !

Writer : Lite-on 451S@832S firmware VS0B
Software : Alcohol 120% 1.9.2.1705 with profile "StarForce 1/2/3" speed 8x
Media : Datawrite CDR 48x 80min & TDK CDRW 12x 80min
Reader : Plextor Combo DVD/CD

Note Daemon tools, CloneCD all latest version are installed but there is Virtual CD !!!
NO StarForce Game is installed also.

The CDs work well !!!! After the install the CD-Check starts the game !

ah right. i see your point now.
thought you were all for piracy one minute, then against it the next.

you don't have to pay for newsgroup access though, my ISP provides good free newsservers.

After thorough testing of why this game would not load for me, I realised that the Daemon Tools 3.47 hotfix does not emulate VOBprotectCD 5, so unloaded it and reinstalled version 3.46. The game runs for me with Alcohol 120% and CloneCD.
