Nope. Stealth patch is required wether you are online or not with iXtreme. This is to prevent Microsoft from banning your ass, at least for now  |

i think this game is very poor, handeling is crapp, i remember when the first c mcrea game came out for thr ps1 about 6 years ago, it was very good handeling of the car was great, they call c mdirt next gen my arse, i feel sorry for the poeple who have to pay for this junk, the car feels like u are racing a speedboat on water!! its ok having great visuals but, but handeling poor!!

iExtreme is the new firmware from C4E. Basically it sacrifices all the features of the previous firmwares to defeat all current Xbox Live detection methods.
It REQUIRES all games to be Stealth patched in order to boot them, so if you play a lot of older games that does not have stealth patches, you might consider not to install it, or find a suitable method to swap firmwares whenever you please (eg. mod your 360 case so that you can easily install firmware without opening the box).
If you play a lot of new games on Live, have all the games you want to play already Stealth patched, and (hope) that you are still unbanned, then by all means go for it - that's what I'm gonna do (have been offline ever since before Spring update, but that it still not guarantee that I am unbanned). |

Colin Mcrae Rally 1 came out on the PC and PSX almost 10 years ago (1998)
Each to their own but I'm loving it.

What I will say against it is that they have probably taken too much of the simulation aspect of previous games out of this one and made it too arcadey but it does make it fun although I miss the fact that the other Mcrae games rewarded skill wheras this one feels like anyone could beat it without much effort, also the mroe you play it the more that American guy pisses you off I am sick to death of hearing the fucker, mind its probably slightly better than hearing Mcrae's dreary jock bastard voice (no offense meant to any of the Scotts)
I will certainly play this one through but I do wish they had stuck to previous Mcrae games formula and not gone so mainstream with this one, plus I've kept noticing that their is an obscene amount of glare on gravel tracks actually on the track it makes it look unrealistic it also seems to be worse with it been on a hdtv deffo way too much bloom in places but the tarmac courses are nice.

you tech people please gtfo. right first impression as a casual gamer, wow. firstly the presentation inthe menus is really nice! the american voice a tad annoying, so i goto options first things first switch to AT straight away, then start my first race i switch to cockpit view and its sand dunes, and im flying all over the shop, smashing through barriers haha and puhsing opponents of the road, it looks amazing! playing more i reccomend!

its not a poor game but handeling i agree is crap but game is beautiful but not awesome game and not true simulation..i prefer colin 4 or 5 on my xbox1

Thats for that very insightful response! Its not available for the Hitachi drives so I guess it is completely irrelevant to me at the moment?

anyone using this on Live with patch may be at risk on 1.2 xtreme firmware as the patch isn't correct, although it will say correct when checked. Video sizes are wrong and can be checked by MS even with latest patches

i dont know how many times on this forum ive explained how i fixed my three red light issue, but im not going to do it again.
check out X-S forums for the answers in full, and if u dont know what X-S is then GTFO!
