TCoR had nice fighting mechanics, but nothing beats Condemned: Criminal Origins.

Fighting mechanics in Condemned are way too simplistic.

Upcoming PC games 2009 and onwards

Its a shame no-one built on the stuff in the age old Die by the Sword. Yes the game is crap to standards nowadays, but that combat system had potential.... Now if you could play that kind of game with a Wii style controller... blisss..

Man that game was hilariously good fun. I remember when it first came out I didn't have an optical mouse... such fun times Crying or Very sad I agree, it would work well (in layman's theory) on the Wii but there's no surprise the idea didn't take off.

Might be fun to dig it out again and experience it once more...

LOL now thats funny..

I got thru the first level after like my 2nd attempt.. This guy is obviously a retard.

Sheesh, Some people, they think games should be completed on the first run thru.. I challenge any Console Fanboi to play Delta on the C64 and complete it. That was a challenge... Oh and any of the Gradius Series... in fact any game upto about 8 years ago were more challenging than they are now..

Stupid fucking game playing noobs.. Smile

First game came to my mind was Blade of Darkness. Its a great game and has acceptable graphics for today. Fighting system has lots of combos and varies for different weapons and characters. As i remembered you could chose between a barbarian, a knight, a rogue and a dwarf. Their fighting skills differs from each other. Like barbarian specialized with two handed weapons,or knight specialized with shield&sword etc. A must have in my opinion.

That entirely depends on how you play the game. On the harder difficulties you can't just run up to enemies and bash at the wildly.

Yes you can. Of course you need a minimum amount of technique, but it's really easy to slamdunk hits at the enemy.

Not realistic at all but FUN; Dark Messiah (kicking rocks) and HL2 with SMOD (best HL2 mod ever - kicking + bullet time + some serious splatter fx ;D ).'
