Hmm what is this? Looks way too much like the original to be a brand new game.
May the NFOrce be with you always.

Quote: | Sierra/Vivendi Games has finally announced what was leaked on the Internet last week; the 2004 first person action game Chronicles of Riddick will be re-released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms later this year in a graphically enhanced form and with new content. |
That's all it is, a re-release for consoles.

It will contain a second "episode", that takes place after the Escape from Buther Bay. According to an ign interview, 40% of the game will be new.

About time!
One of the better games for old xbox.
Hope there is enough of new stuff in it to grant a replay.

New Hands-On: Gamespot
Quote: |
Our three hours with Dark Athena were incredibly enjoyable, and we really wanted to stay longer and play more. The game offers all of the elements that made the first game so great, and the voice acting, set pieces, and new combat elements added even more to the experience. Atari claims that the game is finished, and that the team is now bug testing and polishing ahead of the March release date. We've also been promised a chance to play the multiplayer game against the developers very shortly, so expect to hear more on this promising package very soon. |
High hopes on this one

Well the first one is one off my all-time favorites, it's one of the few games I replay once in a while. I have high hopes for this release
i7 3770k, GTX980, 16GB Ram, SSD Raid0, Internet 3rd world shit not worth mentioning

Since it's just a remake of the first game, with an added chapter, it's first-person -- camera switching to third-person for certain actions, like climbing ladders and shit.
DO WANT.

Has anyone else tried the demo?
I'm finding it quite difficult to execute counter-kills on cue, there's definitely a knack to it I just haven't figured it out yet.
