Hostel Part II - 5/10 - My expectation were as low as possible but still the sadistic nature of Eli Roths universe helped alot and made it a little better although the acting and the plot is what fails.

Hostel Part II - 8 or 9/10

Was I the only one that liked it?
I liked story as it reveals more about the hostel and its way of bidding for victins. I also think the fact that Americans raise the highest prices is a bit of dark humour. Those that were expecting a sickening horror fest , well its all been done before.

Nah, it's because everyone wants to kill Americans, so they're in high demand. Very Happy

Tenacious D, 10/10 for JB and 6/10 for the movie.
But I really liked his creativity with the songs. Very Happy

Sunshine - 9/10 - Danny Boyle once again shift genre and create a universe which is terrifying and beautiful at the same time. Hopefully this will start a wave of European sci-fi films.

Shooter 7/10 - quite entertaining action movie, acting was good, story - nothing special, there were filmed few movies with such story and it`s very predictable but still, good movie

yeah i just finished shooter 20 minutes ago... was fun enough, id give it 6.5 - was an enjoyable thriller, but some bits in it were just too stupid or 'convenient'... i know, i know, plot devices and such, but some of the bits just felt lazy... could have been a truely exceptional thriller if they would have put a bit more time into making things a bit more realistic and rational... YES i know its a movie, but it could have been a really great one.

The Bridge - 8/10

Excellent thought-provoking movie about a subject (suicides) which is still considered a non-problem. About the controversy around the making of the film, I think this was the only way to make a film like this.

Deathproof - 8/10 - Tarantino good as always, though both him, rodriquez and dimension should have created the true "Grindhouse" in Europe aswell...

Is the Rodriguez flick planned in Europe? All I've seen here in IL is Deathproof (when it comes to movie distribution, IL is like part of Europe).

It comes later to Europe I believe. Although I will rather download the DVD which includes both movies rather than see them separately in the cinema.

Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer - 7/10
good flick, better than the first, and the silver surfer story didnt stray from the original.

if the obvious hint is anything to go by, the next will have Namor in it. (Sub-Marinier)
