In order to get one minion to do stuff simply take following advice,
1) Select all your minions so your minion icon is grey
2) Go stand near your teleporter so all your minions are safely away from the bomb throwers
3) Press Q to make a way point, this so that all your minions won't keep following you
4) Target the waypoint by pressing left shift whilst looking towards it, now click left mouse once
5) Now you should have 1 minion released from the waypoint marker
6) Go stand near the door or near the bomb throwers and have them throw a bomb at you
7) Target the bomb with left SHIFT and click left mouse
Your minion will pick up the bomb, just keep holding left mouse and direct the minion towards the door
9) Once at the door release your mousekey and the minion will drop the bomb
10) Rince and repeat 3x

I'm curious what engine this game uses. The textures and models look like that of fable, wonder if this is the engine used for the new fable? Btw, im even more curious why the hell people even need help with this game, or do they spend 2 minutes on something then decide to come here and ask for help?

It has come to our attention that some of the information found within our review of Overlord for the PC was not correct, specifically statements made about camera control. We investigated by going out and purchasing a retail copy of the game and found that the version released to stores was significantly different than the one sent to us by Codemasters for review purposes. As a result, we have removed the current review of Overlord and will repost it at a later time with the updated/correct information, as well as any necessary adjustments to the score.
In the interest of full disclosure, we wanted to make this known to the users so there wouldn't be any confusion about why the review had been pulled. |

This game kicks ass. The minions are really loveable... I still have my little brown guy wearing Melvin's crown running around. Pretty funny.
Although, every time I play, it either crashes to desktop or randomly reboots my computer. Anyone else experienced that? Really puts a damper on my enjoyment.

that's more like it, 7.5 - 8 seems spot on. although i disagree with ryan's statements about it "not being evil enough" because...
Spoiler: | ...if he has actually followed the story and finished the game he would have found out that the main character was actually a hero that had fallen in the tower and was resurrected as the overlord, thus the overlord you controled is not inheriently evil anyway. |

I'd say an 8 on my end, the game has great SP but not THAT great of replay. So what are people going to wanna do next? MP, and they don't fully get to enjoy that cause they shipped a whole whopping 2 maps which was just stupid. They needa get a map editor out or start releasing some new maps.

Spoiler: |
If you come from the Mellow entrance, there are roots on the left and right side, 3 each.
On the right, 2 should be easy to find
- one right at the trees
- one close to the greens cave surrounded by poison
- and for the third one you need the blues, its somewhere in the water
On the left, there are 2 underground (you got them already) and one at the end of the left path, with the many enemies.

Haha, I wonder if those reviewers read this topic because all their "cons" were quashed here.

I've got the one in the cave, then i got the way to that tempel but i did go back into the cave and cleared it out, when i get out i got my minions so that bridge poped out, its where that roots goes besides the entance of the cave.

For the Serpent:
Spoiler: |
Take only Blues and Browns. Position the Blues near the water, let them hold their position.
Then take the Browns, lure the snake out, wait until it attacks (and hopefully misses), then let the Browns attack it. The snake will then get wounded and drop the Browns in the water and the Blues you positioned will automatically rescue and resurrect them.

Finished the game now with 14% corruption. Chose Velvet.
How can I get slaves? I read something about it. Do I have to subdue the peasants for that?

I need help and I need it now or I am gonna go mad, this ain't logical anymore, I need to drive this fucking jumping bitch Jewel into the gate but she keeps running from my minions, and she's running anywhere except into my gate??? I tried to chase her and send minions after her, but she isn't even targetable, then I tried setting up waypoint markers and I put 5 minions on each marker(I made 10 markers like this all over the place so I could block her but she just walks past them). Sometimes she just stands there right in the middle of my minions, WTF is up with this game where logic is no longer needed to solve puzzles?
So in short, how the hell do you get this broad chased into the gate?

Its easy, from the main street, position 4 groups of Minions at the 4 entrances (2 left, 2 right). Then put the fifth and last group between the two stairways at the beginning. I used 5 groups รก 10 Minions. Jewel will then jump in the middle of the street with no way out and run directly into the tower gate.

Download content is also expected to arrive soon after the game's release, with a new character, new multiplayer maps and an extra single-player mission - which includes new weapons and enemies - underway, according to a post on NeoGaf.
