If the ads are like in 24 series (Dell and Toyota f.e.) its okay. Its not aggresive, and the action doesn't stop just to show us cola or mcfastfat Very Happy

I hope game ads just won't become commercials like in Truman Show Sad

LOL that would sucked big time, i still know the part in the truman show where the wife of the main character promotes this chocolate powder lol, damn.. i would boycot those games if that would happen. as long as they place the ads in a realistic way like the mcdonalds sign in one of the screenshots (but smaller) or billboards and such it's ok and it would be still a nice eyecatch for the player making the game a bit more realistic, getting a glance of the future for example Smile

Picture this:
When you meet a boss the game stop and a full screen 10 seconds adv appears showing something like 'This huge boss is present to you by <insert any foocking brand here>'.... I hope it never comes true

A homemade short-film (It's a dramatical experimental videoclip-style short, has nothing to do with games!):

lol there not that kind of ads. What there doing is having in-game billboards and it's happened for awile now. Remember the beginning of Graw 1 on PC, first street in the neighborhood you ran down had a huge billboard advertising Axe. and im sure there were others. It's been in splintercell as well though I don't remember where.

Yep, the f*cking airwaves ads (Fisher chewing airwaves gum in a few in-game movies).

Depending on what battlefield your at - those signs actually make it look abit more realistic. I don't like commercials/advertising, but we have to face the fact that its part of reality.

Still - with the kind of cash they want for their games they really shouldnt have any need for it.

shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
