Recently this issue is discussed very often,in a wide variety of websites , newspapers etc.
for e.g:
http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Music/07/07/liveearth.ap/index.html

obviously it appears more and more compared to recent years, do you think all the efforts that are done to prevent this, will do anything good? or we are on the verge of collapsing?

lately there are so many side effects to this, all around the world, and that, apperantly what causes all of this fuss , which,in my concern, wont do anything good (to my grief),since its started too late, and we are doing too little. Sad

This concert in any case is a total sham and is more for people who want to 'feel good' about themselves. None of these 'WhateverAid' concerts achieve much. Hippiejam. Sad

The concert is simply to raise awareness, nothing more.

We are 2 small to change anything. The only power that can do something is the goverments, and they don't really care.

Soon we will perish.

That could be kind of tricky once Greenlands melted and the global sea level has risen up to eight metres... sheesh! and lets not forget the global conveyer. An event like this could make it stop completely causing the whole northen hemisphere to suffer something like the scenes we saw in the 'Day after Tommorow'

well I could be wrong, but there's a lot of growing opinion I may be right... and this could all happen in our life time. Honestly the more you dig, the less you want to know...
