So....if the cracked .exe is integrated into the cab files during install - what the fuck happens when a patch comes out and we don't have the original .exe to apply it on? Dumb fucking idea. Should have just put it in another folder like normal.

yeah it is real...but if retail or not we dont know. Just seems there a lot of unusual behaviour in it. I seen the AI do some stupid things!

well I installed it and played it. So it works. The AI is significanlty better then in the demo version.
I haven't lost my mind. I know exactly where I left it.

Yah, Im wondering how "retail" it is as well. It works but it just doesnt feel right.

I can't get the texture quallity to high on my 8800gts :-/
It select to medium even after saying "yes" when it says the game will no be optimised.
How to fix this?

What version do you have ? Cause i played all day, and if the enemy is more then 50m away my men just stayed there. They don't even seek for cover. They are great for close quarter firefight. |

Ok so i tried to install the game.. about 80% through the install it said there was a crc error in the file, retry, abort or ignore... i said retry... then after a minute it just said critical error and died...
now, every time i try to instal it just immidiatly says 'setup error, another setup may still be running'... and that even AFTER i restarted windows 2 times! BS!
Anybody have any ideas on this?
(and yes, i re downloaded the game, i'm sure the new iso is good)

There are some temporary files left in the usual dirs. Purge everything, lol !

Here is how I fixed it:
1. Exit the game
2. Go to the savegames directory
3. Copy mission02_1.dsl to the same dir and call it mission03_1.dsl
4. Edit mission03_1.dsl
5. Find the text that says mission02 rename it to mission03
6. Save the file
You can use this to cheat to any mission you like. There are 18 missions if im not mistaken.

I had a hell of a time deinstalling the demo...could it be that some of those files are still in your system (if you DLed the demo that is) I just did a clean install of VISTA so i am all go here. Read somewhere that GRAW1 had similar probs, Demo vs Full Game.

Im at fifth level I think or sixth... Not a single crash, error or bug...
Playing on hard... The teammates still suck though, but i guess this game is build for co-op.

Finished first mission.. Started second mission.. died, quit.. started the savegame.. finished 2nd mission (with all team mates).. Played again and completed the mission - the game will still not advance me to the 3rd mission..
