Who...the fuck...CARES. It's still Q3 on official website. SpykeZ wins yay celebration later post something worth reading.
Anyone else feel like this game is losing it's sex appeal ever since they started releasing more information on that gay suit he's wearing? Granted I'll be playing it but I no longer care it as much as I did before the suit came into picture. Super armor? Super Speed? Cloaking? Why not give him a thermal nuclear detachable missile launcher for an arm and mabye some hi-fi super future rocket powered roller blades to spruce up the suit. I mean cmon, the suit lets him jump around like a frog with super strength but he has to walk? pffffff give him deflatable wings too.

I agree Spykez, I wouldn't mind if they gave him a jet pack or something, but that suit is just......cheesy

Not invisibility but CLOAK mode i.e. the suit sets the temperature to that of surroundings. Used for fighting with the aliens.

Since when has a game ever had a realistic protagonist?
So killing hundreds of people single handedly while soaking up thousands of bullets is ok. But A bit of super strength isn't?
As long as it's well implemented it'll be fine. There are plenty of game where a character has super abilities, this is no different.

Urg just watched an E3 vid interview on ign, The guy from crytek said the projected playtime is between 10 and 12 hours. Man another short game.

Actually thats above average for todays standards in fps games... Most of them play like 8 hours maybe.

It's short, so fucking what... I prefer my games to be short but interesting instead of long and boring and repetitive. Plus, Crysis (should) has a good MP mode which will give it much more play time.

Agreed. Gears has a short campaign, everyone still likes that
Lost Planet had a short campaign, I enjoyed it until the last level or two when it really got repeditive.
Halflife 1 was 9 hours very first time
Halflife 2 was closer to 6
Nobody bitched about these two. Shut your asshat OMG I WANT A FINAL FANTASY FPS mouth. There are no long shooters.

hl: ep1 was a fucking great game, you white men. a lot better than hl2, which shows that you can produce good games if the environment, story sometimes, and maybe a hooking gfx? are great

I really havn't been following this game much, just watch a vid here and there and seen the super speed and frog jumping stuff but i think it's cool, games like graw2 that are so slow and tactical bore the hell out of me, 1 wrong mistake and your dead, reload last save... that gets lame quick for me anyway. jumping around bring death from frog jumps and all that good stuff brings in us cs players with a new approach to owning noobs in a super human form ima love this fast pace leap frog shooter! |

Great, they are already making the way to up the system reqs. So now, in order to enjoy Crysis at its best, you need a Penryn.

ha, no, thats just the recommended specs to be able to run the game well. to run it maxed out, you need an octcore system with a 2ghz nvidia 92100 gtXXXZ*10 graphics card...
seriously though, ill be pissed if my pc doesnt run it well. i dont expect 1920x1200 res with all settings maxed or anything, but i expect high quality and good speed at the very least.
