I was just messin around with some of my gfx settings and while doing so came across a situation that puzzled me.. So Im hoping someone else might have advice on this..

Basically I wanted to change my aspect ratio setting in the nvidia control panel, and eventually learned I had to uncheck the "Treat as HDTV" option in order to unlock the aspect ratio menu... Thats all fine and dandy... I made my changes and all..

But now Im wondering... Should I check the "treat as hdtv" option back on again? or leave it off?? (it was originally on). If I untick it does that mean aspect ratio options wont be effective because the menu will once again be unavailable??

I could use some advice here.. LOL

Some info:
Im running an 8800GTX and a 22inch WS LCD monitor at native 1680x1050 res.
Nvidia Driver 158.22
