Do you got the latest firmware on it ? You can also try linksys chat hotline. It's free...

you know what, i had the exact same problem with that same router. At least it sounds like the same problem. I ended up having to buy a new router. It was something with the router that was the problem with mine, because i bought a new one and everything worked fine.

If it's not broke, i can fix it

Check for any unofficial firmwares. I had the same router for 2-3 years and was very satisfied until it crashed during a firmware upgrade Sad ....you are not gonna try to upgrade now, do you? Very Happy

A few to note:

The default firmware back then, had a bug that didn't allow autospeed applications like azureus auto-upload trace route. That was with the tracert.exe command that disconnected me as soon as I used it.

This router had a weird way of assigning ips. Sometimes if I switched on my secondary pc first, it would take the 192.168.100 ip first, and my primary one get 192.168.1.101. This fucked up my routings numerous times.

If you can use UPNP then use it! Easiest thing regarding port forwarding. Just check the option to release mappings after the application is closed.

I tried the chat at linksys and they said to try triggering instead of forwarding, seems to work but i havent had the time to test it out much.
