I suggest you watch the interview one more time. If you have even played Hitman, you will know it is a much, much closer comparison than fucking GTA.
And no, Hitman is not only about sneaking, you always have a choice. |

Well we will see when it comes out. I know you have choice in Hitman. That game is all about choosing what to do.In theory at least. But if you go running and shooting in Hitman you die. ^^

It depends on what strategy you choose. 
But it's definitively good that Splinter Cell is taking a new direction.

I think one of the best things they ever did with the Splinter Cell series was making the co-op missions. Was a lot of fun how they made the missions have to rely on team work, or some of the crazy plans you could come up with a friend to take out two guys in another room. What I'm hoping for is the use of is "be aware of your surroundings." Would be cool if you could use more of the in game environment to do what you need to do to take out the guys or get around rather than having to rely on the perfectly placed popcan that just so happens to be around when you need it or relying on the gadgets used. I know it's too intelligent of thinking for ubisoft to think outside the box when it comes to their franchises now since they've gone downhill but hey, I can wish.
