does anyone know if its possible to play the original HL with some updated graphics from the HL2 alpha? I thought I remember some posts in the old forums, but obviously those are gone.

Excellent news, looks like the dvd version will be standard retail over here, which means no retailer will sell the cd version?

tbh i dont think they will be arsed if it gets hacked again. they've already given out the code to 3rd party groups as well as DOD members. it wont make any difference to them, might even help them. why wait 2 months for the first mod to come out when people can get started now and have it ready for the proper release?

DOD members? I thought DOD was busted a long while ago?  |

It will probably be on CD in the USA just like other games that have been released on DVD here in Europe. Very good decision unlike the one from ID software.
