this is kind of old, I have knew it for some time. because you can preorder it from here http://www.webhallen.com/prod.php?id=26535 , it's a swedish site.

Oh and I know that will not be the final box art, but I guess they have put that picture there because that's the closest thing they have to aoe 3 right now, even though it is from aom

I liked the first 2, I wasn't a big fan but I still liked them, they were among the first original RTS games.

I hope they will make it 3D, like ground control or warhammer.

only really another year, but i have a feeling that its gonna be a clone of RON, dont get me wrong, I loved all the AO series, but its tough to go back to anything but RON. Might be interesting to see what they can do, possibly a civ clone but actually fight the battles in real time like RTW, dont know just a thought.

dunno what i should think about strategy in 3D

i just hope it is still playable

developers tend to make games TOO 'big' too many options, too fancy.

Instead of just making a good game.

The maps look so neat, so detailed it is almost impossible to play on it on a competitive (read multiplayer as im not a pro) way, kinda sad these days with '3D games'
