A tested my PC with ArMa and it ate my PC yes. But Crysis won't!

Really? Wow...that's incredible. You're 8600 must be the limited edition that comes pre sprinkled with magic fairy dust because it smokes my 8800 which ran DiRT like shit at 1680x1050.

You guys or gals with your 8800's should buy an ATi if you wanna play DiRT with maximum details on 1680x1050 with over 40 fps. My HD2900XT runs it like a charm.

I played at 1280x1024, maybe that's the difference. But I am telling you the truth when I say it ran on medium-high settings. Which processor do you use?
Why'd I lie? I didn't even like the game. In fact, I'm not much of a gamer with an average of 2-3 hours a week, so I don't at all get fanboyistic about my hardware or said games.

I have an AMD X2 5600+. I'm sorry if I came across as an ass, I'm not calliung you a liar. I could run it at mostly high settings at 30+ FPS most of the time on my 8800GTS 640MB. Some things I had to turn all the way down like driver detail and the wind effect to achieve that. Shadows were turned down if I remember correctly aswell.

There was an article this last week about nvidia having trouble with the memory in there 8800's because when you think about it we usually go with the 256,512,1 GB & they release 320,640,768 mb flavors. They also stated there suppose to release updated drivers with a fix for this from here till sept. This could possibly explain the reason there is such a slow down on some of those games. I personaly ran Dirt at 1280x1024 with everything maxed to the tits & barely saw it skip a beat.

hahah near the end of that trailer did you see the punch? it SO looked like it belonged in the 3dgayvilla topic...
i was quite hyped about the game, but after seeing that vid, im no longer so sure its great enough to warrant purchasing now...
