what else is it suppossed to be??? a brand new game with same title?? its not like it was a dupe or anything..this fucker was never ever cracked...props to them for cracking it and the updates that went along with the main game...
i didnt see anybody else (homebrew crackers) taking a try at this one...

so i just went through the tutorial in EAW , i am quite confused now lol .

i am too used to simple FPS and c&c , hearing starwars tunes makes me wanna install Tie Fighter after 10 years .

Has anyone solved the problem with starting the hatred release? I can play the main programme fine but when I click on the .exe it loads for a while and then nothing happens...

Updated it too, doesn't make a difference, got the latest graphics drivers.

Thanks for any help!

I'd wager that's generally what happens when you try to shoe horn in modern textures into old ass engines with archaic memory limitations.

You need to run the 4GB Patcher to patch the game's .EXE for 4GB awareness, the readme file that comes with the mod from other sources than SteamWorkshop states it's required.

Applied it just in case, but it seems it's specifically tied to defence battles.

And the steam forums for the mod seem to indicate I'm not alone. Real shame, the battles are truly spectacular.

Apparently the defense crashing issue was because of a gas container building we could build for better cashflow. Best we can do right now is not to have that thing on border systems. Severely limits income, but better than crashing. Razz
