sent acc info to Phluxed. I think pm didnt get sent, so check your mail.
oh by the way, i hope u have no problems with it, cuz it was EU server account (i think you could still try it on US servers, but they were going to restrict EU accounts to EU servers only some time soon)
Btw, my own opinion about it is - its an ok average MMO, nothing that revolutionary or anything. Beta has some bugs and pretty often it gets laggy, but well its beta, so those should be expected.

Alright,
I've given this my official 2 day test.
Subpar to the max. Definite lack of.. well fun.
The missions are neat and it's a nice change of pace from the regular fantasy content out there right now, but there are some inherant flaws in the game. The first is the combat system. The targeting and locking is god awful. It could get better in time, but the idea just isn't fun.
The missions are dry and without originality.
Just not going to be a real success. Any questions, feel free to ask.

I've won a beta slot for AoC (has not started yet), I would be willing to share my account if you were to do the same.

Got my key yesterday, played it for a few hours today. It appears to be very choppy graphicswise and there is quite some server lag. The Missions are boring and sometimes downright confusing.
this game needs lots of development time, it is far from being ready.

Meh, played it for a couple of hours today, still is quite buggy and laggy, yet I like it more than WoW. The targeting system might not be everyones cup of tea, but I enjoy the simple left-click-shoot, right-click-magic system. Makes it feel more like an FPS, which I really enjoy. Still, probably won't continue to play and definately not gonna pay for that.

from playing it for a couple of hours, I feel the devs were trying to strike a balance between a RPG and FPS, but is on the verge of failing.
the shooting aspect of the game can only amuse you for so long. After you realize the "aiming" part actually dont matter, the game gets boring because you realize it's the same as most other MMOs, besides the fact that everyone is an "archer" and can do range attacks.
I hope they make the aiming part of the game more interesting, or this game might turn out to be another Soldier Front...

Well, i looked forward to this game.. alot.
Now, when i had my 2days in the beta (sure, its a beta, but still).
Im tottaly boored of the game. Allready.
Sorry to say, its not that fun atm. Good concepts, but the uhm.. what do you call it, execution? of them are not that brilliant.
And the classes just did not give me the warm and fuzzy feeling. Not anyone of them.
Well i hope they got some good major plans/fixes/whatever, or i think alot of ppl will stay away from this game after playing the beta.

I like it so far, if it keeps up this kinda play and what not and offers free online play like guild wars, I might have to pick it up
I like the fact their using guns instead of the swords/magic EVERY effin mmo has.

Lots of hate for the game I love it personally. Sure, I think we all wish for a more shooter experience, and honestly I can't see why that isn't possible. Mind you, I haven't tried shooting at dead space to see if I'll hit my target, because: 1) I've found you need your crosshair on the target to TAB it (locks the target for the auto-aim buffer zone), and 2) I've played so many FPS games it's just instinct to keep my crosshair on the target. Who knows, maybe you get harder hits if you directly target the mob? Hell, you don't even have to target the mob. That just lets you get a sticky zone so you can run around and not be so careful about perfect aim. Which is good, because the mobs seem to have better than perfect aim
You all make it sound like you can lock a target and the shoot at the sky and still hit the mob. Which isn't the case. It certainly isn't in the build I'm playing.
And why ignore some of the cool features? Running over downed mobs to auto-loot? That's great and really keeps the game moving! What about the fact that mobs don't just hang around the overworld waiting to fight. They fly in on drop ships, armed and ready for war. It's a great feeling, and adds to the experience of fighting off the invasion.
The real issues are the horrible quests, and lack of depth. The quests serve as little more than a free way to arm yourself. None of them are difficult (save for maybe the instances). I'd like crafting to be finished, as some of the addon gear sounds fun, and useful. Personal force-fields FTW
It'd be nice if there was more to it than running around shooting wave after wave of Bane. There's really no social aspect to this game, at all. That's going to be a much bigger problem than "ugh, auto-aim".
i can has computar?!

Bored of this game now, I thought it would be different to some of the mmorpgs i've tried before but alas no. The autoaim feature is just dumb, which just defeats the whole point of the targetting system.
Roll on Hellgate London. Hoping they get the fps element right in that game.

I so badly wanted to love this.. Sci-Fi + aliens + aiming and shooting in real time + guns and stuff.. Basically Anarchy Online reimagined.
And it looks pretty damn sweet too, especially at the training grounds where you start, walk up to the light beacons and watch the awesome lighting effects.
And its not hard at all to play, the interface is great, left mouse button to shoot, right mouse button to use a skill.
I cant find anything wrong with it! Which is exactly what is making me go nuts!
Because im just not having fun! Not at all, im sitting there, shooting away at the enemies, the sound isnt bad, the gfx isnt bad, the feel of the guns isnt so bad..
But im just not having Fun, not at all
lol, really dont know why, cant put my finger on it, but in the end it just makes me shut it down, because games are about having fun, and thats what most mmorpg's are lacking.
Its like, you fight against the game to have fun LATER ON when you earn enough cash for that sword or level up for that new skill or spell. And once you got it, you again fight against the game, often frustratingly repetitive, to again have fun LATER.. Which never comes.
I just cant pay a subscribtion fee for the false hope that it will become fun later on, if i have to pay each month, it better be fun every second! non-mmorpg games are more value for money. Because in those you have fun while playing, not just 1% of the time which is when you level up or find a new cool weapon.
But for some reason even the instant gratification fun level doesnt exist here.
I mean in games that arent massively multiplayer, they are just more fun due to ragdoll effects and other physics and neat odd gameplay quirks that just cant be in an mmorpg without making it so overly complex that no internet server in the world could handle all the players..
Imagine if WoW had ragdolls and other stuff, rocks that could fall on players, a proper combat system like in oblivion or something, again with proper physics instead of the same old locked-in press-a-button combat..
20 enemies flying trough the air landing in trees and shit after hitting them with your powered up weapon, like in Titan Quest. It would be awesome..
Imagine if this game had the same, rocket launchers that actually threw the enemies in the air making them fall down damaging anything they hit, destructible enviroments, not in the laggy online way, but rather like the UFO games where you can blow away walls and shit.
Imagine if it had proper aim like Prey, lagfree stutterfree gameplay.
I dont care if its the best mmo availible with 33ms ping and running at 150fps.. Its still never as smooth an experience as non-mmo games. Never ever. Because they are Always stuck in that box gameplay, to optimize the netcode, remove all the uneccessary code to prevent lag.
That uneccessary code that makes all the difference in the feel and fun factor of a game..
