These two updates were leaked in beta form a while ago but this is the final version and judging by the fixes these should be very effective for all Vista users. Smile

Fixes a lot of good stuff it seems.
Don't have Vista yet but my new PC with Vista Ultimate is just a day or two around the corner so this fix is great. Might make me a happier Vista user when i get it Smile

Just installed it and lost the restart/shut down/sleep options in start orb and alt+f4 doesn't work anymore saying this option was restricted. Anyone knows what can be done about it? I've looked everywhere and I'm logged in as an administrator, so that's just weird. thanks.

edit : Well, figured it out. For some reason Group policies have changed after the updates.

Start > Run, Type "gpedit.msc", then go User Configuration > Administrative Templates > System>Start Menu and Taskbar>Remove and prevent sleep....make sure this is disabled.

Also, task manager was fucked up too so in System>Ctrl + Alt + Del Options set Remove Task Manager to Disabled.

The previously leaked hotfix's are identical to the "official" ones available for download now on Microsoft.

Haven't had any issues since installing these updates. Then again, I haven't had any issues in Vista.
