Been using Timestop V2A since I installed Vista when it came out about half a year ago. Haven't had any problems until yesterday when I got notification that I had 27 days left to activate. I think the culprit might have been some performance boosting fix that I downloaded a while back, but it seemed to have come out of the blue. Anyone know what the best/most reliable crack is at the moment?

Also, does the bios emulator cracks or whatever mess up your BIOS? Will a full format undo whatever they install just in case? I do a lot of overclocking shit, and the last thing I need is for my bios to be screwed.

I think (and I stess think here) is to run the DVD image method

"It is recomended to have Vista on a DVD. Installation through virtual drives is buggy and fails occasionally. Any release should be fine with this method.

Boot the PC with the Vista installation DVD. At some point, the setup program will ask you to insert a product key. Click "Next." Setup will now ask you if you want to insert a key at this point. Select "No." The setup program will ask you to choose the edition you have selected. Select any edition you want. The crack is compatible with all Vista editions.

Fill all other information normally. Let the installation complete.

When Vista first boots, download the crack and make a folder on the desktop called "Crack." Extract all the files of the crack to that folder.

Click the Start Orb and type "Command Prompt." A command prompt link should appear. Right click on it, and select "Run As Administrator." UAC prompt should appear. Allow the operation.

Head to the "Crack" folder on the desktop. You should check the readme file that should be included to see what EXE you should run there.

Restart the computer. Vista should boot up normally. Every now and then, to make sure the crack is working, right click on "Computer" and select "Properties." It should say Vista is activated and genuine.

Vista is now ready to use, fully updateable. "

I guess the best person for this stuff would be LeoNatan.

Personally I am running with BIOS emulator , and all works just fine. Problem with this method is I can't update my chipset drivers and stuff. I might look in to the DVD image method myself...if Leo don't have another method that is

OK, so first, and I can't stress this enough, the Timerstop crack is a, well, a ticking bomb. It can be plugged by MS at anytime. But that doesn't mean that's the case. Vista has a bug that causes it to sometimes report wrong timer counts, thus showing that scary message. Just restart, run an elevated console, and type "slmgr /dlv" or "slmgr /xpr," the one that gives you the minutes you have left. See if that counts down or not.
