					| |
					| Hey Guys,
Im looking to buy a SATA PCI card as my PC doesn't have one for flashing. My current 360 is dead so getting a new one and going to flash it myself, is there any partiuclar one that will definately work and where (other than ebay) could I get one? UK sites would be best.

 Thanks!

					| If you get a Xbox with a Hitachi drive (like I did), everything will work. I use a cheap USB-to-SATA adaptor.

Works great for Samsungs but I never got mine to work with any Hitachi. Slax failed to put it in B-mode when using the PCI-Card. Switched to onboard SATA (Intel ICH7) and it worked right away with Hitachi. On the contrary I never managed to flash any Samsung with the onboard SATA.

So for Samsungs get the Via6421, for Hitachi almost anything will do...

					| Ok, so now it detects IDE1 and IDE2 but no SATA. I read about needing to change my BIOS to read the SATA as Native/IDE mode but there is no option at all in my BIOS for RAID settings?
 Any ideas anybody?
