Its getting messy out there.
More and more people getting in trouble with the 2 activation limit, and securerom is just saying its not our problem. Meanwhile the officeial forum is almost down and out.
btw a problem people are having is that they install bioshock on 2 partition (xp/vista) to check on what version it runs and looks better. Are were not allowed to install on a 2nd computer next to that.
Also some formatted and geinstalled there xp partition to get a clean and better runnning windows and forgot to uninstall the game and now are only limited to 1 copy on there pc FOR EVER).

lol it's funny and what if the system is at status it can't be booted and game uninstalled ? then what? one big LOL to 2k

There's nothing they're gonna do as it's part of the official system requirements for being able to play this game.

They will do nothing. You should read system requirements: Bioshock needs internet connection, if you dont have it - dont buy it.

God, game store shipped mine out quick as hell, wasn't supposed to be here till tomarrow.
Also seems im not the only one who got their big daddy with a broken tip  I'll superglue it back on lol...
Anyone else get a broken tip?

haha..what a dramatic moves here in the bioshock pages...from 120 pages to 4 pages and everyone become good kidds:D
anyway..a relevant question about the demo, i played it again few hours ago and i like so mutch the robot hacking:), but..where is the ability to hold stuf with the hands and drop them on the enemies?
maybe it will be in the full version? or it is power up that the player will find later in the game?

It is not included in the demo. What do you mean by "robot hacking"?

Song names on the CD are:
Beyond the sea (moby and oscar the punk remix)(lasry/trenet/lawrence)
God Bless the child(same remix)(Herzog/Holiday)
Wild little sisters(same remix)(Lovely/Patterson)
And it's done on a vyna disk looking template  They probably used Virbatim's design
Also activation requires secrurom to download shit for the auto patcher which only takes mabye 5 seconds

Thats the telekinesis plasmid, available in the final game.

you can hack the flying propeler heads (half life 2 style) machine guns so they will fight to your side. there is a mini game of swaping tubes (very easy and relaxing). and when you win the mini game - the robot is on your side:) |

lol, how do you hack? i played thru the demo, but never figured that out... just shot at anything i saw moving!!!

u have to electrocute those robots, then walk nearby, point on them and then press V and voila you are gonna hack  |
also, if you shoot cameras with out beeing seen, no flying robot will attack you and you can find one on the ground in the erea befor the last scene when you attacked by groups of 3 motants - and you can activate it as said above and...its very fun also they have funny sound like bee:D |

If you want to hack a security cam you have to use the electrobolt on it to stun the camera then run up to it and start hacking... If you can reach it, that is.

So if you got steam u can backup the files on dvd and install them as many as u want ?
pc dvd version ( retail ) u need to uninstall it in order to get a key back from securerom.
else u only get 2 tries.

anyone elaborate on the "two install" thing...the 2k forums are on their knees-and as someone who has actually paid for it, im kinda worried
i tend to format/reinstall my rig about every 2-3 months..and add hardware about every 8-9 months, of not more (talking about hdds,ram etc..not so much mobo/cpu/gfx card upgrades)
when there is no more room in hell, the D34D will walk the earth

that's one of the reasons why I won't be buying this game anytime soon.
I'll buy it if there is a patch or crack to stop that online-activation/two install crap.

All it means is, if you install on a lot of machines in a short space of time, automatic activation may not work unless you uninstall off of other machines and you may need to manually activate.
Believe me, its no biggie. Any company with half a brain between its employees would not do anything that caused its products to be locked out.
