Hmm I don't see why it shouldn't work.

Perhaps they just don't provide technical support for x64 users.

Great demo the camera goes bat sh*t as soon as the mission starts. Still WWII is overdone.

Edit: I left a joypad converter plugged in Embarassed

This demo was the biggest piece of crap i have played in a long time (only surpassed by the even more craptastic Two Worlds demo), but as always im sure that the 360 version will rock, this seems to be the case of another bad port.. Even if they claim that they developed it for the pc side-by-side blahblah same old lies Smile

There was some cool moments, like running atop the roofs (great sound effects) and semi-sniping germans on the roads. And of course its really cool to be able to paradrop to wherever you want.
Also, if you get alot of good kills with your equipped weapon, it goes into slowmotion for a while and you get upgrades like faster bolt-action reload etc.. Pretty neat.
But i found the controls to be odd, something felt sluggish when turning around occationally, the motion blur may be the reason. And the AI is the same old ai, duck and wait, pop up head and get shot, nothing new there.

And guess what, no anti-aliasing, not even forced (in vista that is, dunno bout xp), same as in Bioshock. However Bioshock manages to look great anyway, with very very little aliasing.
This game looks absolutely horrible without anti-aliasing tough.. And i mean absolutely horrible, i would take a screenie for you guys but i guess you all are downloading and/or playing it already.
Its a shame really, to "ruin" such a good core game engine (UE3) when a game doesnt use AA, it just brings down the entire visual experience more so than any other effect what so ever.

In my opinion, the three most important visual/immersion aspects of a game is proper sound, anisotropic filtering, and anti-aliasing. I dont care if they have to remove the pointless motion blur or even remove HDR, just never EVER trade away AA or AF in a game.
Two very basic techniques that can make any game look decent, even 5 year old games.

But all in all, this demo made up my mind, ill put my money on CoD4 instead, for the 360 of course. But for you pc only players i sure hope CoD4 wont suffer the same bad porting. Too good a franchize to mess up.

Sorry, if you think CoD4 looks good I can't take anything you say seriously.

And no antialiasing does not equal buggy. Wait for a nvidia driver release Razz.

I like it too, it looks way better than COD2 to me. AMD 3000+ , Abit 754 socket mobo, 2gigs of ram, 7900 GTO (stock) ,maxed out at 1440/900 runs smooth as butter.

Alianna, look in [...]\UnrealEngine3\Binaries for moha_setup. From there you can change the resolution. No wide support though.

What are you talking about? Widescreen is fully supported with a proper FOV and everything. The interface doesn't scale all the way over, but, well, it's an ugly interface anyway.

Either way, runs great at 1440x900 here, max settings and forced ansio.

i bought the first cod but thats it, its a run of the mill corridor shooter that is loaded to the brim with scripted sequences. moha is a nice change to the typical ww2 shooter.

The problem with Call of Duty is the ridiculously arcade-style play. Especially with CoD4, god damn that one looks dull as hell. That, and fuck the middle east conflict bullshit, nobody likes playing in a fucking desert.

The problem with Medal of Honor is they're still doing WW2. Bring on Vietnam! Though I do love the weapons of WW2.

Remember Vietcong? That was a great shooter (sequal blew). Trees = awesome cover! No more crates and pallets please!

Anyway, back on topic, a solid shooter to bring back the series. Last game was what, 5 years ago?
