guys guys guys..
what's wrong with you mates?
only few days of deley and you all getting soft and ordering the game?
everything gonna be allright..soon...i hope;)
seriously , if you like game and you really paly it more then one time and you enjoying it , you should buy it imo.
i know that the orange box or what ever includes portals and team fortress and episode 2, is a must buy for me, cause i know portal is a great online potential game and teamfortress also.
i also thinking about buying stranlehold (it contains online) and crysis but the good thing with piracy is that you really can check the damn product and see if it is for you or not. demo for me is not enough, cause from one or two levels you can't judge full game.
also 30 days are not enough to check software.
developers should understand this.

Steam version is the same money, just without packaging and manual, which sucks big time. I know there is a dvdcheck at launch, but simple securom dvd check can be fooled with latest DT and a proper image, no? Unless bioshock has a new securom algorithm (for the dvd check part)?

I have a image file mounted with DT with a legit serial thinking this would work and thru in YASU to boot .....Does not work!
The online security catches it in every configuration I have tried stateing put in original disk into the DVD drive
The only way to play it is to buy it or wait for a fullly cracked version which might be a while
I look at it this way I'll wait 3 days if not I'll buy it.
Buying a good game once in awhile and getting the bulk free whats the problem, its worth it to me

Did you use a downloaded image? Or made a completely proper clone or blindwrite or whatever image on your own?

Its all of that. It included the music from the transport to the rapture, the elavator scene and the piano solo that can be heard on the flash website. So if you like those things you like the this download.
its not a big download and its if you don't like it you can just trow it away

I had other games not play with daemon tools installed, so could be. Definetly not buying this if I have to uninstall legitimate software.

Quote: | How I cracked Bioshock
1) Install the game
2) Remove the side panel from your PC. Arrange the little glass tubes inside your computer so that the glowing blue liquid flows into the "CRACKED" nozzle (If you suck at this, just jam 20 bucks into your CD drive).
3) Enjoy!
NOTE: If small helicopter things fly into your room and shoot you in the face, you did it wrong. |
May the NFOrce be with you always.

not really, those sites base their reviews on the hype of the game as much as anything... id hardly call them unbiased by any means.

Can somebody who brought this game make a Proper Image using Blindwrite or VirtualCD and test if the game would start from virtual image drive to look if its working ?
Dont use alcohol or DT(Pro) to create the image and the virtual CD Rom !!!
So we can see if the SecuROM 7.34 can be created in image or not, DT and Alc seems to be blacklisted !!!

AFAIR, Valve releases always were cheaper on Steam. I guess the price is up to devs, Valve gets its money anyway.
And yeah, it sucks big time. I see absolutely no reason for a healthy man to use this FUCKING CRAP instead of getting nice box with CD inside.
