Not for myself as in a friend. I have Virgin and I wouldn't swap Cable for ADSL for anything.
I'm just trying to set up all the software for the newsgroups for him.

BTW Jenny, if you have Virgin and have been with them longer than 12 months - threaten to leave to Be. They'll then do you a deal for the 20mbit package for £25 a month, instead of £37. Pretty good value!

Yah, the best approach is just to be friendly. Just say you wanna cancel, they'll put you through t retentions. Then say you wanna leave for Be (hope you have it in your area), they'll do a post code look up and propaganize what speed you'll get. If they ask you why you wanna leave, just say money I'm very happy with the service but it's just too expensive and there's cheaper out there.

Virgin can't be beaten (i have both)...
The reason for this? The on demand services! Watching all my favourite programs when it's convenient for me- being able to pause etc, for free? brilliant.

Yah, Virgin's on demand service has the potential to blow Sky out of the water. It gives you the sort of variety you can get by combining usenet/torrents.
