After reading some reviews i find some contradiction in the way the devs wanted to give you the sense of reality in the game. I knew that even when you are in a calm place, you can hear distant sounds and that adds realism, it's nice.
But about enemies for example, they say you can go back in a previous level and the enemies re spawned Confused as i see it, i wouldn't have been better to get new enemies in there instead and the bodies of those that were dead previously, laying down?

It's an awesome game and i'm struggling to find less positive things but there are some...

Anyway you're probably gonna get more help on the official forums, not from the tech support but from people who have the same prob than you

Heard about this earlier, just makes me wonder how they 'unset' something written in the code on the DVD? Unless it was set to expire in the beginning which would have been weird to keep secret, but oh well..

Anyways anyone who doesn't buy this game who complains there is nothing different in the fps genre or gaming in general, needs to be slapped. Seriously. This game is worth every penny despite all the controversy and real issues. I have been trapped in Rapture the past 144 hrs of my life(even while not playing the game, ie sleeping or at work)...AND LOVING EVERY GODDAMNED SECOND OF IT.

This game has exceeded my expectations the way no game ever has. If thats not a compliment, and reason to BUY IT, I don't know what is.

How do increase AA in this game? DX10 can't but, DX9 should be ok. However, whenever I uncheck DX10 in-game, no AA from ntune works.

P.S: there is a new bioshockFOV hack that supports retail DX9/DX10/demo now.

Just curious, was the unlocking based on Levine's statement that the activation will at-some-point-in-the-future be removed? Or do we have some actual developments on a way to bypass the activation?

Not sure, but the game engine might require new hw to enable AA. I got FSAA in dx10 by forcing it in the driver. Not sure but UE3 might not do AA on slightly older hw even in dx9 mode. And that hack works great now, I recommend it greatly for all ws users.

Yep, and that leaves you with 3 more installations.

EDIT: on another note, the online activation will long be cracked by the time they officially remove it, at least 1 or 2 years from now I suppose...

I believe that some of the hardest meanest most blood thirsty pirates that frequent this very forum have broke under the immense pressure from both 2K and securom as well as getting themselves caught up in the mass histeria they have paid for this game. This is a sad day indeed, not only have they lost the respect of every honest God fearing pirate but they will never be able to look at themselves in the mirror again without cowering in a corner mumbling " Not my fault, they made me do it". Disgraceful.

I'm not so sure.

Remember (at the time) 'uncrackable' Race Driver 2, King Kong and Chaos theory. Much the same thing was said about putting off the pre-release/on release pirates.

If you're right, all three would surely have outsold everything. Yet none of them got to No. 1 in sales.

Personally, I think there's so much stuff out there, that most will just wait it out... sure, a few will relent, but not as many as all the wailing publishers would have you believe imho.

Yes, but have to wait till september (not in stock yet). Can be as low as 12.8€ / 8.66£ / 17.5$ then Smile (no price yet).

btw. that cd-wow price was 20.99 pounds (31€,42$), if you were fast enough to order before europe launch date.. Jumped 4 pounds in the middle of the night and kinda ruined my buying enthusiasm, so I'll wait more (but it's hard, oh so hard).
