A few posts on the official forums are mentioning things like slowdowns and low framerates on the X360 but that's probably only during a few specific areas like the capital city of Cathalon where there's a ton of stuff and NPC's on the screen at once wich even taxes some of the higher end computers.

There's not much of a difference between the various versions though aside from general resolution (A HD capable monitor should help with that.) and the availability of a SDK for the PC, someone even managed to toggle the console in the X360 version. (Can be used for all sorts of things, though it depends on wich commands one knows but most of them are already listed on sites like InsideTwoWorlds.)

EDIT: All the new releases of Two Worlds will include the 1.5 patch aside from the US, UK and XBox versions wich allready includes all current updates whereas those who have the earlier EU release (Royal Edition and such.) will need to download the 1.5 patch. Smile

guys i've installed the game and updated it to v1.6
i entered the game.it asks me for a serial .i give the serial
and then i must autentificate or else the game is in DEMO MODE. WTF?there is no crack on t3h internetz.i just want the single player campaign.

what should i do ? Crying or Very sad

i don't know what serial i've entered in the first place.
so.. do u have any idea how to remove the old serial from the registry so that i can enter a new serial number so that i can activate it ? Sad

It is too easy. After a couple of hours, playing all the side quests I am kind of invincible and I did not use any potions. Think I will play on HARD dificulty becasue normal is too lame....

There are mods that increase the difficulty level a bit but it seems the magic is still a bit overpowered.

Elite mod:

(Rebalances the game, use with the 1.6 patch - also requires a restart similar to the patches due to how the game engine works.)

Elite mod female:

(Same as above but uses a female character, voices might sound a bit weird if they even work at all.)

There's quite a few other mods for patch 1.5 and 1.6 albeit the game doesn't have a large mod scene.

Wait untill you get to the otherside of the river.. Some giant insects and summonin a devil, stone & steel gollem and couple shields with dual swords (with different damages) I still got killed like 20 times. And I have about 850 health and 1400 mana, giant insect thingy killed me with 2 shots.

And if you are in couple hours, you might not have yet visited the glacier orgs, they should test your "invicibility" Smile

Oh and make sure you are playing the 1.6 version, not 1.0. The orginal was seriously messed up, you could make a sword that killed everyone with one strike, now there are some limits.

(One of the developers answered a question regarding future updates on the official forums as well, seems the 1.6 patch is the last one for the original game.)

Does it work this time around? I beat it without patches, and no -- I didn't just kill the guy right away. Although - my warrior was pretty good at alchemy Razz

This is an underrated game I think. I really enjoyed it, more so than oblivion.

Release date for the "The Temptation" sequel appears to have been confirmed as Q3 2008. Smile

The first one had some issues and the voice acting took some time getting used to but I had alot of fun with it, hopefully this sequel will be a nice improvement so we won't require any 1GB+ patches either.

EDIT: Also, those recent X360 DLC additions will be released for the PC version.

The PC version of the "Tainted Blood" DLC has been released. Smile
(Multiplayer only so most people here are probably not going to use it, assuming there's that many multiplayer players left due to how unbalanced things are on the official servers and the amount of cheating and exploiting going on.)

For those wondering why it's only multiplayer the developers said they did it this way to support people who own the game legally since one can't play multiplayer with pirated copies.

Lastly, regarding the proper sequel "The Temptation" there's a few new newsletters available, game has progressed nicely and seems to be quite a improvement, hopefully gameplay will also be improved a bit.
(I liked the game but the main story was a bit lacking and quite short, voice acting was also quite bad since they mixed old English with new English and slang.)

So why would you use the Epic edition?

Basically it's a re-release but with the 1.6 update already applied, this worked just fine with the previous release.

It then has the 1.7 and 1.8 (?) updates applied however these only add the two DLC's Curse of Souls and Tainted Blood.

Those two DLC's both do the same thing, adds new multiplayer maps and some new quests on those maps, that's it, I mean the new MP content is good but it's not something you can use if you downloaded the game as MP requires a real CD-Key.

Wait for Temptation instead. Smile
(May 2009 it seems.)
