Don install that stuff, and to prove it all ive paind for the full version now on symantec site, that one runs fine and dossent mess up the comp.

also the barcode release cant even be reconised as any version NIS
the one ive downloaded is the real deal Full releash, and barcode should have use thet for there realeash and included the key, then i whould have worked fine... so to all of you, Buy it, or wait till some one makes a new release if you dont want to losse like 3 days reinstalling windows XP

The TDA release works great, but the BARDCODE release is really fucked up. When you activate it, it gives a msg that you have activated it, but when you start it you must activate it again. So Download the Proper version of TDA and use there keygen, and it will work fine! Very Happy

I just put the TDA release on an SP2 box 3-4 days ago and have not had any problems, yet. I just hope that after a couple of weeks it doesn’t restart the activation!

Can anyone here help me? I installed Norton security 2005 and everything goes great till i go to live update and then it stalls about 10% into the DL and then freezes for a couple minutes then tells me that it can't get a connection to my ISP. I've done all the help topics as well as unistalled and reinstalled the program and it still does it. Has this happened to anyone else and if so how did you fix it? Thanks for any help.

PS Please don't respond with, "I know what's the problem you are using a POC software." or anyother variation. I understand some people don't like Norton for whatever reason but it has served me well since I started using it a few years ago.

Edit: Nevermind I got it to work.

Hmmm....I guess the first question is which release are you using? I just put Symantec Norton Internet Security 2005 (c) Symantec *PROPER* - TDA on a box about 2 weeks ago without problems. Liveupdate worked and continues to work without issue. However you need to make sure you disconnect from the net and follow the TDA .NFO when installing.

Assuming you have done all that, do you have a router/proxy/firewall getting in the way?
