i wait for the PS3 version with added Hard Boiled movie in HD on one Blue-ray disk

I hate to burst yer bubble, but unless they did an Amazing job(like better than Lucas cleaning up star wars, which cost millions) the film isn't going to benefit All that much from the transition to Bluray. Every copy of the movie I've seen(LD, DVD, VHS, ect) has film defects(grain, scratches, jumps) which will become even more evident captured in HD. Also the film was recorded in mono sound. And upmixed mono, even stereo, just sounds shitty to me.

Anyways just wanted to point that out, besides that its a great deal, just don't expect a movie looking like and sounding like it was recorded in HD. The movie itself is worth a million, tho. Early Woo is the best-tho maybe 'The Killer' is the ultimate in classic HK cinema, or as I like to call it, 'slo-mo bullet ballet' Very Happy

well im going to download the pc version, and download hard boiled, so i too will get the full story, for a hell of a lot less, and also faster than your getting it Very Happy

hd for OLD movies with little cleanup is truely pointless like upstart said, i dont know why they are bothering except as a gimmick to help sell the game on the ps3 because it cant sell on its own strengths.

Kinda sad really, I remember years ago when I was signed up to PC gamer cause I got to play the demo disk months before game release to see how the game was. Demo's were the shit back then. Companies also used them to judge performance on peoples computers and get shit fixed in final release, now look at it, demo's a couple days before just to get people to shut up. Ever since consoles got powerful(xbox and ps2) PC took a huge hit to it with mutiplatform bullshit.

Ya point made, quite honestly that's any company now days. I mean with piracy getting bigger and groups can get a head start on their protection if a demo is released I can kind of understand their reasons but hey...doesn't hurt to miss the good ole days.

Lets not forget that in this case, PS3 dudes haven't gotten a demo nor an early release, so we're not the only ones not getting it on time.

I wouldn't say unknown... The same people who cracked bioshock were the same responsible for cracking steam some time ago... As far as I know they are from russia...

yeah if you watch jackie chan's old films, ones that he made with his two friends (the three dragons) back when he was trying to break into the market, you'll see him do some crazy stunts like roller blading from one car to another by grabbing the back bumper Very Happy

anyways for those of you who played the demo, how does this game compare to max payne?

Take the soul away from Max Payne, add alot of destruction and you have Stranglehold. Very Happy

It's a nice game indeed, lightyears better than the crappy El Matador but don't expect any deep storylines.

Max Payne 2 > Stranglehold >> El Matador

well you run around in a small area/room kill all enemies which appear, after some time a door opens/bridge falls and you can advance into the next room/small area where you do the same, do this a couple of times until you come up a boss fight Smile

oh sometimes you have to blow things up to advance..

game is solid, the killing is fun and looks pretty cool, but it's short and after killing hundreds of guys it gets repetitive.
