Well first of all i wanna say im kind of a noob in the hardware department (this is the first computer ive ever built). Ok so i have 4 HDD's 2 PATAs and 2 SATAs (seagates and WDs). The main HDD is pretty old 20 Gbs hard drive. The problem was, when i plugged my 2 SATA's into the motherboard built in SATA slots, the comp didnt see those drivers, even when i was trying to flash my xbox i had to buy that special PCI SATA card (which worked very well), so i connected my 2 SATAS into the SATA card, and it worked.
I have no idea why doesnt it see my built in SATA drivers, i tried to tinker with the BIOS, but no results. Well now i bought another a newer HDD (still pata) to replace my old 20 gigs. After installing it, my 2 SATS completely disappeared (only 2 PATAs are shown), and when i try to connect them to built in SATAs, the comp cant even see my PATAs. So my question is wtf is happening, why can't i see those built in SATA's, am i doing something wrong, are there any special drivers i need?
Would appreciate any help or input, thanks. (Hope the above post makes sense, hard to explain comp details when you are noobish).

Yes i did. Well i started playing with it a little bit, and i think i fucked up one of my drivers now, when i click on it, it tells me its not formated and wants to format it now. I have SATA 1, 3, 4, sata plugs, EZ_RAID 1 and 2 (looks like SATA), and then SATA_RAID. It seems like SATA_RAID is the only SATA port that actually works, it actually detects my SATAs, all others are simply not working or sometime it tells me DETECTING DRIVERS, PLEASE WAIT while booting, and of course it just sits there. Freaking computers Sad.
