Try the new drivers actually, those beta drivers are known for doing wonders. I gained about an extra 10FPS in some games alone with my 7900. |
Are you playing the game maxxed out?

Lol pretty much. I got like one option turned off and that's it. Get 30+ FPS with it.
You running anything in the back ground? |

Often subtitles aren`t synchronises with dialogues. Anyone else has this trouble?

Well... I am havign a problem that hasn't been posted here.
I am using the LOLCAT ISO mounted in newest daemon tools.
Installs fine. No errors.
I am using the scenpwoned crack. I move the 2 files into the folder where they need to go and overwrite the old ones.
I then import the reg file into registry.
When I run the game I get an immediate error box that says basically "This application can not run because it is not configured properly. Uninstalling and reinstalling may fix the problem. (paraphrased)
Now, I have uninstalled and reinstalled to different directories 2 different times.
Same problem. Any ideas?

Ya, buy the game. the lolcats release was nothing but stolen shit. It's nuked. The crack is not a crack, it's a bypass.

Well, I did buy it for the 360.
Not going to buy it again. Though I prefer the mouse and keyboard any day.
Despite the lolcats release being stolen, I thought I read Leonatan say that it was a good image? And I thought the scenpwoned.crack (Sorry bypass) worked... no?
If this isn't what people are using... then what?

Well, I did buy it for the 360.

lolcats could be good I guess, I just refuse to use stolen shit. I've seen more people use the onehitwonder release than anything. the bypass works for some it doesn't for others so it's been nuked. It's more a lottery. |

I agree!
Get the lolcat release since it has a hacked installer so you won't have to rename the folder and stuff.
Get the ScenePwned crack/bypass/whatever
Get a Maxi-Image and play away..

NWM got it started, though after the the first cutscene and the big sign BIOSHOCK comes up the shit just turns black.
using vista, dual core centrino 1.8ghz and gf 8600m gt, 2gig ram, etc etc

ima just gotta say, even though its been brought up before, the out of sync subs are just pathetic... i mean wheres the quality control... and dont give me some bs about how its a really minor thing, because its not... having the subs THAT far completely out of whack is just shoddy... how do things like this actually make it past quality control... dont they give a shit about this kind of stuff? lazyness? EA sports games have better quality control and testing than this game did...

Alrite guys, am enjoying this game well so far, just one little annoyance I have, when I go into the game and enable V Sync on it will never save settings, basicly, i change resolution, sound setting, game saves them fine, but I must always go into Video Options>Turn V Sync on each time I go into game, anybody got a fix or solution, I notice the game does a little tearing with it off...

Cheers for the help m8, In the Nvidia CP (Using 163.44 Bioshock Drivers btw) I have V Sync set to "Let Application choose", also there is no custom bioshock.exe profile created, funny thing is, V Sync works when I turn it on in-game (It is noticeable) but oddly enough wont save settings after I quit, I have a EVga 8800GTS btw,

I got a ati radeon pro 9800. I know it doesnt play it already.
I want to buy a card now just to use before I build a whole new pc. So,
should I get?
Radeon X1300 Pro AGP 256MB NEW for $11
or
BFG NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT OC 128MB AGP USED for $11?
I know both cards are outdated - but want to play this game now..
Seems like the radeon got better performance ratings - but not sure if it keeps up with the OC performance of 6600gt
well after further reserarch, looks like 6600gt oc is better. i think ill go with that...

Thanks. Now Im looking into the 6800 vs 6800gt. I know I can unlock the 4 extra pipes on the 6800. Basically same price.
After further research, 6800 seems better deal as cheaper..also, seems like the 128MB version has faster clock speed then 256mb. So, right now leaning towards 6800 (will unlock 4 pipes) 128MB memory.

Be sure to have a power supply that can run your new gpu.
Nothing worse then to get a new gpu that doesnt run on your system.

6800 plain vanilla 128MB requires only 300W PS. I have a dell 4600. Google shows it comes with 250W ps. So Ill be stretching it. In case I run into probs, I have a new 450 W PS I can use. Thankfully Dell stopped using propierty powersupplies in the 4500/4600 series. So, Ill go with 6800 - unlocking to 16 pipes. I hope the 128MB doesnt effect gameplay too much.

Why are you using a crack?? the LOLCAT version has a modified installer etc so the game is already cracked / activated etc when installed... Follow the instructions on the NFO and it works fine -

Is it the PROPER release? If not, thats your prob.
Get the PROPER, and install. Right after install VS Redist. Thats what I did. Game booted, played on my Radeon 9800 PRO! But - could not make out anything though..hahahah. But no errors.
