						Yeah, it's like this... I use ffdshow, so I manually set the brightness to -10.

						In the nvidia settings you can alter the color correction settings for just overlays, and there is a settings screen for overlays, those are for videos, you can make them darker there.

						Yeah, but I think Vista no longer uses the regular overlays we're used to from 2000/XP, and I'm not sure what the CP changes. If it's for the old overlays system, it won't change much.
