The cso is 1.2 gb, but the game is going to be seriously good. Combat is like a weird lock on system with different attacks, blocking and lots of weird counters and variables appearing on screen; don't understand what's going on but it seems much deeper than your average action-rpg; still seems to be a lot of FF combat mechanics in effect.

CG is beautiful as expected. Think when the English version gets released it's going to be awesome.

Yah I caved and played a little into it as well, I was so confused in the beginning until that guy hit the ABORT button, hahaha...

Combat seems awesome, but yah, would like to know what's going on, I figured out the L/R to change attacks thing, and the targeting seems simple enough.

This game is going to fucking rock when it comes out in English. Very Happy I guess I have time to play through FF7 one more time beforehand... Wink

i dont think anything could get me to play ff7 again... definately a prime example of an overhyped game.

in regards to this coming out in engrish, i guess thats going to take 2 or 3 years most likely... when the yanks whupped the shit outa the japs, their should have been TERMS in order to allow them to surrender, like having to have manditory simultaneous english and jap releases for ANY future media they create....

another example of americans not thinking ahead eh? Very Happy

next time you have a country by the throat, please think about what you can get out of them in the future before you choose to grant them life Sad

what! the japs make great movies and games...

the americans had them by the balls and could have either wiped em out, or accept their surrender... all im saying is that the terms of the jap surrender should have been expanded upon, to include future instances of japanese created media, and the insistance that english versions should be mandatory right from the start, thats all... how could that be a bad thing? do you like waiting 5 years for shit to get converted to english?!! come on!!!

Anyone else get the impression the combat kind of seemed a bit like Ninja Gaiden, with the blocking and evasive rolls and stuff.

Only played it a bit though.

it probably is... remember this is an rpg game, so those who made it and those who play them have probably never before even used any form of realtime combat... so for those who grew up having to use reflexes and coordination and think fast while gaming will probably find the combat as reasonably simplistic or similar to other things theyve played...

but the bulk of the people who play this will not have experienced realtime combat before, so probably wont care... they'll just be freaking out constantly about how awkward it is not being able to get up and make lunch or have a drink while fighting...

Amazing game, i´m playing it even though i don´t understand anything. Friend of mine finished it last week and he´s helping me get through it since he understands Japanese.

I´m definately buying this one when it´s released in English.
