I played the 08 Demo!! It was really good.... BUT, 2k is better when it comes to hockey!!! LOL

NHL 2k are all crap. NHL07 was amazing, and NHL08 looks even better. Skip this 2k garbage.

So untrue. 07 beat 2k7 for sure, 08 vs 2k8 will be much closer.
Some PAL releases please!!!

hm...maybe this will be the first year where I like EA better than 2K...ah well, if it plays well, who cares...I love hockey so as long as I have a hockey game that plays great, who cares? And yes, 07 was crap (imo) while 2K7 was awesome...

Will i disagree. This year NHL08 stepped up the bar again. Picked it up yesterday, what a game. And from reviews (I know many are biased) NHL2K8 is the same old crap. And even if 2Ks hockey is closer, would you still buy the better (NHL08) version?
Wow, i didn't know there were people that actually liked 2Ksports hockey better than EAs. If you thought NHL07 was crap, i think you haven't played it.

What did you guys burn NHL 08 (EA SPORTS) with? It's an ISO file.. (vortex).. Burning it in CloneCD resulted in a coaster for me.

I have NHL07, NHL 08 and NHL2k8.
2k8 with some of the sliders available online is about a million times better if you get used to the controls. NHL08 is great, but 2k8 is the better sim.

Canadians should definitely know good from bad. The only problem I have with most Hockey games I've played is everything about the game seems fluid and fun except wether your shot scores or not always seems fairly random.
No expert tbh but it always seemed very inconsistent, like as my skating and passing improved my scoring ratio didn't, but I guess I don't watch real matches so...........

This game fucking rules, seriously; it seems like the old genesis hockey games. If they don't fuck up the PS3 version I'll buy it for mp.
